There is a big agribusiness corporation from Australia called SPC (Shepperton Preserving Company) who are mainly known for tinned fruit, vegetables, jam and baked beans. Given the Australian enthusiasm and talent for shitposting I can only assume there reason they've not jumped on this golden -circle- opportunity is that they're too busy dealing with fires, floods, and SCP-5007.

I just had a thought about the usability of the scramble goggles for scp 096. During contact eyes are to remain shut until an alarm is sounded from the eyewear, signaling that the facial features of scp 096 have been scrambled. At this point the user may open their eyes to view the subject. If ever scp 096 leaves vision of the user, protocol for using the scramble goggles are to be repeated. Closing eyes until the eyewear informs the user that scp 096’s face has been scrambled once again. This is to minimize any chance of viewing scp 096’s face before it has been scrambeled.

As a NZer I gotta feel bad for the D-Class dude, we don't even have death-row over here so he definitely pulled the short stick there. Luckily (?) for him, he'd have died instantaneously as soon as the hull was breached by 096. The massive pressure differences being so far under the water would collapse the hull in microseconds if it was breached, with absurd force. There likely wouldn't even be a body as the intensity of the implosion would probably vaporize him, so the least you can say is he didn't suffer.

Well, there are a few options. If you want a fun one, then go with Things Dr. Bright isn't Allowed to do in the Foundation. It's hilarious, and I feel like you'll kinda vibe with Bright. If you want one that'll make you cry, then I'd recommend Where the Dragons Went. That one will wreck you emotionally, and you'll likely wanna curl up in a ball and cry for a bit afterwards. And, if you want a more major undertaking, then maybe go with 682. Most of his article is just termination attempts. A lot of termination attempts. Many of which mention other SCPs. And as a random one, maybe the Drink Machine. I don't remember its name or designation, but it's actually kinda interesting.

at 43:04, someone in chat asked if anything has seen SCP-096's face and lived, and the answer is actually yes. I don't know how many, but I know of at least 1 SCP that has seen it's face and survived, SCP-682, which is a pretty neat SCP, and it'd be cool if you checked them out too. SCP-096 was unable to kill 682, and from a lack of trying which speaks to the sheer strength of 682. Their battle lasted I think like 25 hours or something, and ended when 096 Started clawing at it's face at the sheer distress of not being able to terminate 682, and was in extreme emotional distress for several days afterward.

Here’s a few answers to questions I saw in twitch chat and KZread comments. Demelicous, calling it cute does not do anything. No, it is NOT a bean (unless you count horrendously disfigured murder machines beans.) Space = wait for target to come down. Ocean = it will swim. Explosives only knock it out, and that’s only if an incredible amount are used. Staying away doesn’t work, it moves faster based on distance of target from its location. Also, the D-Class was not killed by pressure, the tracking collar on 096 broke from pressure. 096 fully eats its victims if left alone. It has a sense of fear; when cross-tested with The Reptile, they were both seriously injured and refused to fight each other. The Reptile recognized it as another being trapped by the Foundation, 096 sat in a corner and cried after realizing The Reptile was too powerful to fight, even after The Reptile looked at its face. If anyone has more comments, I’d be happy to answer.

I think you would greatly enjoy some of the SCP short films that people have made. Such as Dollhouse and Overlord. Believe there is also one of 096 that covers portions of these interviews.

The SPC is actually an alternate universe SCP foundation called The Shark Punching Collective. They are a more militaristic and brutal version of the SCP Foundation but their goal is to kill specifically shark-based anomalies in hand to fin combat.

A really creepy one would be SCP-3426 “Reckoner” by the Volgun. It has to do with Pattern Screamers (terrifying creatures). SCP-1915 “The Stars Do Not Wait For You” by the Volgun or The Exploring Series is really good too, beautifully written. SCP-3812 “A Voice Behind Me” by the Volgun is good to cover as well. One of the most powerful SCPs. SCP-1762 “Where The Dragons Went” by the Volgun had me in actual tears. SCP-2718 “What Happens After” by The Exploring Series is an absolutely horrifying concept, I recommend this as well. SCP-3004 “Imago Dei” (Image of God) by the Volgun is great too.

The Shy Guy is a special kind of horror: other SCP are deadlier ormore horrifying, but you can survive them by sheer luck or other means. If you look at his face even by accident.... You. Can't. Escape. I'll submit my personal favourites, some famous and some lesser known: SCP-049: The Plague Doctor SCP-294: Infinite Coffee Machine SCP-507: Reluctant Dimension Hopper (A bit long, but worth it) SCP-662: Buttler's Hand Bell SCP-682: Hard-to-Destroy Reptile SCP-999: The Tickle Monster Also there is a great short film based on SCP-096, appropriately titled 096, I HIGHLY recommend it!

There was an SCP tale (short story), where a high ranking researcher was being tortured in her home by agents of a rival organisation. She endures quite a lot, but finally breaks and give them the location of hidden cache of documents in her house. They find the documents and open the folder and she closes her eyes shut. The file contains pictures of 096. She hears as 096 arives and kills the agents. She manages to free her hands and collect all the pictures off the ground while still having her eyes shut and 096 is still in the room. She is not actually afraid that it would attack her as she never saw its face. The story is non-canon (nothing is) and has no connection to the original article, but i still think it was a cool concept.

Honestly. I don't see why the scrambler wouldn't work. Like... Just add an additional display lag, forehead. If it takes half a second to process it. Then have the display wait half a second to display the processed image. Sure, it can mess with your reaction time but it's better than what happened.

Nice to see you cover SCP stuff. I dont expect it to covered cause its not popular or interesting but I helped make 1995 and all the lore and concept stuff for it was made up with by me with a writer making good use of it and another cool dude I knew helping refine it. I know its a weird brag but I'm proud its even up there to this day with me credited. 😂

You could literally put a single pixel of the shy guy's face in text and as soon as the eyes glance over the letter with the pixel hidden in it, your fate will be sealed. Your brain just needs to register the pixel. That's all it takes.

SCP is the definition of "For the greater good", which is why so much of what they can do looks, and is, so cruel and evil. They're such a fun experiment on morality, right and wrong, boundary crossing, etc. Kill 1,000 in awful ways, save 1,000,000, such a simple choice on paper, the trolley problem in a large-scale scenario. Also has she learned about 001? Somehow that is one of the most terrifying ones to me, because there's no stopping it. Survival in a zombie apocalypse is possible, recovery is possible. When Day Breaks doesn't have that possibility unless humanity somehow leaves the solar system without being touched by the suns light. 001 instills a sense of impending doom far greater than any other horror, at least off the top of my head. And that's not even mentioning the psychological manipulation, horror, torture, and trauma it causes.
