He even claims that you say Aquinas taught “Double Predestination.” As a Catholic I assume you know that’s not true. In CCC 600 and 1037 the Church rejects that teaching.

@@marteld2108 I assume you watched the debate with RZ and Leighton Flowers. I like Flowers but he is a little arrogant with the Augustin baggage and Councils Got it wrong stuff, which then suggest the Baptist in America got it correct 1800 to 2000 years later. RZ is a good guy and he does seem very at home reading Catholic Theologians. Seems like He is Catholic at heart but just hasn't mentally come to that conclusion yet.

it's not clear to me why a particular view on the kind of distinction between soul and powers would entail a particular view of what sanctifying grace is. I can't, off the top of my head, see why you couldn't any combination of either of those views on the distinction and either of those views on grace.
