@yammy1000 - it's different - the crowd is too old to do phone recording - SWR3 is a local TV station watched mostly by older people (saying without judging) :) but they still know how to enjoy good music without distraction

Saw Sam at TRNSMT and he played just before the Courteeners. His set completely outdid the Courteeners, haven’t seen anything like it in my life. Maybe an off night for the Courteeners but this lad is SO talented

This is certainly great, but I’m also very fond of Ruth Moody’s (very different) version and as a rule don’t see the point in comparisons or declaring any particular rendition “the best”.

Can I give a round of applause to the crowd who clapped and listened intently at all the right parts. They made it that little bit more special. Not that it needed it 👏 👏 👏

I was at a Sam Fender concert in Wiesbaden, Germany. That was the first time that I hardly spotted people putting their phones up. I think this speaks for itsself for his music.

Bruce Springsteen I'm sure is a very happy man to have this, probably the greatest cover of a song I've ever heard live, by one of the most talented young and original singer/songwriters of today (badly needed with the shite thats om the radio atm)..and from Newcastle too, home of some serious music legends, and Alan Shearer

Sam, his voice, the sound from his guitar, the transfixed audience, even the sound engineer for this. Wow, just wow.

This man is special. Kudos.
