As a Bruce Springsteen fan for over 40 years, this cover of Atlantic City is one of the best I have ever heard. His own stuff is absolutely fantastic- a real genuine raw talent- something which has been missing for years. Sam Fender I hope you conquer the world.

He's just one of those artists that makes the lyrics make sense

My 7 year old son said to me "Dad why you always playing Sam Fender" I smiled and thought "You'll thank me when your older son".....smashing cover btw....raw emotion in the voice can't be faked.

Saw the show at Circus Maximus...Sam was fantastic! First time seeing an opening act for BS and the ESB...BRAVO love SF❤

Listen to this all the time. It's a deep tune. Bold statement but prefer it to Bruce's. Love that you can hear Bruce's influence in a lot of Sam's music. Best music artist to come about in along while. Respect Sam Fender. Thanks for the music

Have been listening to this on repeat since discovering it yesterday. I'm a big fan of Bruce but this version is actually better then his. So much emotion in his voice. Love love love Sam! So talented and gives me hope for this generation

I'm kinda torn between a love for the band (especially deano) and his solo stuff like. I definitely prefer his solo stuff cos his voice isn't overpowered by the drums but maybe if he just keeps mixing it up between band and solo he will be onto a winner. A lot of people know he's got talent like. I hope he sees this comment eh Billy, son 😉

Agreed. The only voice that connects with me is Dave's, But this guy has a voice of an angel..Quite adapt given the climate! A breath of fresh air and a superior voice. Bravo 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Now look at him 😍 I seen him post about someone setting his tent on fire at Leeds festival when he wasn't famous, someone came along and peed on it and put it out, he then said I don't know your name but just to thank you because you saved the Leeds headliner for this year. What a feeling going from getting wrecked and in the normal campsite, to headlining the same festival years later 😍

The feeling he bring into these lyrics is everything. I felt every word, made a legends song his own

When he goes up an octave in the chorus, wow!

Saw Sam at the Ulster Hall Belfast tonight playing support to Jake Bugg, two guitars and a mic blew me away with his vocals! song writing and his performance-last song was on a keyboard and his voice resonated around the hall-echos of Jeff Buckley in the air!

in this song and hypersonic missiles his voice reminds me a little of Brandon Flowers from The Killers. Sam Fender is the perfect musician, so much grit and power in his voice, his song writing is amazing as well, it was interesting to read about his writing process.

Serena Hussain singing sounds like flowers songs sound like Springsteen, especially hypersonic missiles. It even has that sax and guitar bit that sounds just like dancing in the dark. Can tell who his influences are.

It's just so cool that this Geordie covers The Boss as well as anyone ever could. Sam Fender is one of the best I've heard in many years.

David Strafford have you listened to the songs Sam has written? The lyrics have such meaning and his music is so different to most modern songs. Highly recommend you give them a listen, I’m hooked!

As a huge Springsteen fan this is one of the greatest cover Ive heard...

This does it for me,this guy just has what it is people are looking for in music,he's one of a kind.. enjoy him.. music is special and you need the right people to deliver it..Sam is someone who can do that and has the personality to go with it..

Capo is on 12 so that the key of the song stays true to the original but an octave down. Creates a beautiful octave chorus with his voice

How did I miss this, Springsteen I've seen live and it was at St JAMES PARK in Newcastle where Sam hails from bloody hell. However they both have a way of conveying their emotions in lyrics and very powerful they are. After listening to Sam covering AVICCII Waiting for love and blown away Sam is one of those artists you are not going to see with some dolly bird on his arm you will see him with his band only I love him
