make sure your relays for the ECU and fuel pump are the special Bosch ones with a diode in them else you will run the battery flat

You can mistakenly swap the Coolant temp sensor and #1 injector connector. Done it once and it created all kinds of problems. Vehicle would start and run but once warmed up it would not restart. White connector is coolant and black are injectors.

Standard ones OK. This engine is a 5 litre stroker. I am running 47psi to the fuel rail. A little bit higher than standard, but seems to be great for this engine.

One question: the constant live wire. Can this just be a fused live wire running directly to the battery?

  • @Hensen1954

+John Mckeever Yes, that's exactly how it should be done - quite a heafty fuse, 35 to 50 amps.
