Hi from OZ Thank you very much, this is great software, and following what you showed allowed me to set up Rover Gauge with a DTECH TTL to Serial adapter with the FT232RL UART and test it with PuTTY, then Invert the Interface signal with FT_PROG. Very straightforward and helpful instructions.. Works Great! Much easier than my old method of linking a couple of leads in the ECU and counting flashes of the ECU Fault light on my 1994 RRC 3.9 LSE Soft Dash. Regards Mike

I've got one of these engines in my TVR which still has the 14cux It will be interesting to see the mapping in it as tvr put out 30% more power than the standard 3.9

Fair, the standard 3.9 didn't put out much power considering its a 3.9l fuel injected v8 :)

Great write-up. I piggybacked a connector onto the 14CUX loom using the red/yellow/black connector parts from an old PC, works great ! RoverGauge also has a great logging facility, bottom right on the screen, which captures every sensor detail into a .csv file that you can read in Excel, etc. I used this to help diagnose engine stalling a while back.

That's a simple idea, and yes the software is far more capable than i thought was availible for the 14CUX

you need a spider bypass plug if it has 14cux ecu
