Bryan - I remember when you went on this trip. I had no idea how cool it would be! When you were little, was your mother always saying, “Now Bryan, stay with me and don’t go wandering off!”? No wonder you were always running to catch up. The Honey Onyx/Calcite was beautiful. A lovely color with cool patterns. The Algae Balls were way cool. When you found the baseball-sized one, I was yelling at the TV, “Crack it open! Crack it open!” I wanted to see inside. The Chicken Scratch Jasper was my least favorite, but leave it to you to wander off and find Chicken Scratch Mountain hidden in the tree debris. I guess that’s why you’re The Crystal Collector! Would love to see those slabs. The Wonderstone was very cool. Wish I was there to find that piece with the heart myself - you know I want it. Volcanic glass definitely caught my ear. What was that beige-colored “eye” on that one piece after the heart - was that the volcanic glass? The handful you left with were beautiful! Hard to sort through or hard to break the rocks? Wasn’t sure what you meant when you said “hard to dig through.” All in all, a fun video - one of your best I think. Very entertaining and informative. Had never heard of any of those things before. I absolutely loved it! Watched it three times. Looks like it was a beautiful day - sunny and breezy. P.S. After the mud, your shoes sure were immaculate! And you were running like Phoebe on Friends (search YT for it). I’ve seen you run much better than that. Lol! 💜⛏️🪨

Yes, I was hoping to cut several of these things and polish for the video, but would not have gotten a chance to do that for a few months till I’m back home. I can’t wait to cut open the large algae ball, I bet it will be awesome! And the Jasper should polish up really nice, that’s what I’ve heard anyway!! I think the eye that you were talking about would be the Wonderstone, that stuff is really cool, super unique

Watching you all smacking away with your hammers. Just to be aware out there. I was jade hunting the other day and was smacking on a rock and had a chipping shoot off and a freak accident started. It had hit my arm right in a top big vein and instantly was gushing blood everywhere. , I was a good ways from vehicle too. Luckily I had a first aid kit and fixed me up. But wow it was a crazy experience and lesson learned. Watch those chips flying. Imagine if it was the leg ...

Asia is pretty big with diverse geologic features so I'll say yes. Where I live in the US it doesn't have many really spots for rockhounding, mostly because the areas have been developed and paved over so there's no access.

From experience, I understand how annoying they can be, but realize that you've only got 2 eyes and unfortunately, when injured, they rarely heal without a permanent and negative impact to a person's vision.
