Right? I have limited mobility and I just love living vicariously through the crystal collector! I miss Matrix when he’s not there by your side.❤
That natural Red Beryl still in the matrix/wall, sparkling---is so wonderful to witness. Thank you all for the pleasure.

Thanks for supporting and watching! I’m not there yet but at 44 I feel the downward slide !
Hey Brian, thank you for this video. It hit me in a different way than it would most. I spent a lot of time digging that same bench and cave, and pulled more red beryl than most can dream of. It's where i became interested in minerals in more than just a prospect for capital gain. I made life long friends there, and it has taken my life down some beautiful roads. I vended with Nico in Tucson in 2020, and after that, everything changed. I haven't been out mining with friends or vending the big shows in 3 years!. I've been stuck at a 9 to 5 trying to figure out why the hell I'm not out living my life to the fullest, and seeing this video kind of hit me like a reminder of the life i was living, and how much i truly loved it. Sorry if this is too long and it didn't get read, but i wanted to thank you for sharing this journey. I hope someday i can meet up with you guys. You don't know me, but Nico does. He was trying to get me to come out to his mines in CO back in 2020 before my vehicle broke down and I rooted myself here in AZ. I finally got a truck and a plan to uproot myself and get back to doing what I love. Happy mining buddy ❤
Respect to the mountain right...that was a long way up. I love the octagon shape of the red beryl. Great video, thank you for sharing.
Oh I miss Utah. Grew up there. Wish I could have joined y’all on this one!

My favorite find at Topaz mountain is a cluster of seven gemmy red beryl, perched on top of a good sized topaz crystal

We made the hike up to find epic pockets of both topaz and red beryl!! Thank you for sharing the adventure and the opportunity!!!
I love this beautiful desert place. The Utah west desert is a different kind of beauty, but wonderful sunrises and solace and solitude to be found there.
Climb the Mountain to get Topaz & Red Beryl Crystals!. very great job and awesome friend.
I found an incredible topaz sitting out in the sun over there, clear but absolutely stunning ....Wish I never sold it
It was great to meet you in topaz MTN. Ron and jen
Interesting that the red beryls are all flat hexagons! Cool finds in the secret red beryl cave!

Wow!! What an awesome day mining! Thank you for sharing Bryan
Beautiful Topaz and great scenery 👌
Not kidding! That is a crazy hike to the caves. We stay on the flats and find topaz a plenty. A few worth faceting our first trip. Still looking for the beryl. Love your videos.
That's good news for me because I dig for all sorts of crystals and I hike a small mountain near my home and I'm glad that your on a public area so I'll have to check it out

Man I wish we got these videos more often... but I know there's a lot of traveling and behind the scenes workd being done.
It did look very precarious looking up the mountain. Amazing to find those crystals coming straight out the wall, they looked amazing and red beryl to. Thank you Bryan
Great finds. Congratulations.
Incredible and even more exciting finds!
Topaz is my birthstone and I only wish I could go to the USA and personally dig up this gem. That would be awesome
Great finds and such a beautiful place to dig!
Beautiful!
Another great and informative video!!
I went there 2 years ago! Absolutely beautiful Jeremy was a great host! That was my first time digging barrel and topaz. The rhyolite is so hard but so amazing! Be careful enjoy your time I love watching your adventures.

Looked like a fun trip. Great memories with epic views 👊🏻💥
Wow! finding Bixbite is amazing.
Really enjoying this one!
I did that climb once, By the time I got where I needed to be, I was to tired to even look. You are right it is no joke. Guess that is what happens when you are older.
LOL! I Was Just There Three Weeks Ago. Found Some nice Ones! 😃 Yes ,Not For the Faint of Heart..Especially IN The Winter. You Guys Rock!!
Hi Bryan, well that looks like a pretty hectic trek up to that cave area and what a result, great looking Topaz and some “cherries on the top of the cake with those red beryls. Pretty good having the camping couple around as well, especially “Robo Rockhound” Frank, 🤣🤣 Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
I would have to mine down low.
Red beryl , topaz , I'm in . Nice scores
Glad you teamed up with that couple i seen a few of their videos....hope to make it back to my silver butter spot.
I could have done that climb 20 years ago, but I don't see anything big. My favorite spot is the Beryl Pit in Ontario. The beryl is different shades of blue. Very large beryl crystals were found there in the past. Many other interesting stones there as well - smoky quartz, tourmaline, amazonite, etc. The hike to the site is easy.
Fabulous!
That topaz is so beautiful! I just went mining for the first time for my birthday on the 14th. Got some big, gorgeous amethyst. It was so fun! 😍🥰
I want to see your beautiful dog in your videos every time He so adorable Salam from Algeria north Africa
Awesome looking trip!! I’ll have to check it out :)
I would make that hike just for the beautiful view from that location. Great video
🌞🙌🕯️ amazing as always!
New fan here as well. Stay awesome !
That looks like so much fun...
Yeah when you drive up to Topaz you look at the hill and think oh, that's not too bad. Then you start up the steep part and it's dizzying. It would be SO EASY to get really, really hurt. I appreciate your warnings. I also found my first scorpion there. With my hand. You can have a ball looking around in the flats for loose crystals, they're quite literally everywhere.
Fabulous, !
Awesome video! I am kind of surprised that you guys went through all of that trouble to get such small stones/crystals. But then again I am no expert at what they are and what they are worth etc.
We've been up to a similar mine with a little easier climb. The crystals are amazing and just seem to rain down. You've got to be very aware and careful, but it's well worth it!!
Wow! that was awesome. It looked like it required a lot of skill to get there and to actually mine the topaz. Awesome job!

Thanks! Yea, I slept like 10 hours that night 😆
Thank you for bringing us along. :D I have good balance, and I can climb, but I don't have cave mining experience beyond gold panning and pulling stuff out of hillsides. I'd love to go, but my lack of experience means that I can't. Seeing these beautiful gems unearthed was amazing.
If i had access to such place i would live in it

Pickle forkes are perfect for carefully going through the vugs.
Im from UK id love to go to America and do this it would be my child hood dream .I spent my child hood searching brooks for gems but found nothing apart form a flint that had a half inch quartz crystal in it ..This country is devoid of anything nice in nature
Love to join you next time Absolutely aWeSoMe ❣️
I would love to go to any of the sites he shows. I love crystals and would go through about anything to do this
About ten years ago i got a sample of white matrix with rosey red crystals inside. The matrix is much more granular ( it supposedly came from the Philippines) but the crystals look to be red beyrle.
Awesome it was worth your climb
I once went there it was pretty fun.
You have an incredible eye to spot that first topaz. Kind of a dangerous place to go into with the rock so soft, I was nervous for Frank in there.
So close to the best spot! Look left? Giant topaz. Beautiful clusters that do not look like sugar.
I would have loved to try that hike like ten years ago... I'd hardly make it up there in a day... lol
Bryan - It’s a good thing you had your super tortilla chips in your backpack! How many bags were stuffed in there? Lol! That was a cool video but, yeah, looked dangerous in the coming and going. Also very dusty. Hard to breathe up there? The clusters are too cute! Congrats on your two red beryls. Nice job to all! 💛
Hi Toni!
Nice! I don't care about the small topaz crystals, but I would love to find some red beryl.
I might double check if they are red baryl or not people have also gone for Garnett's in that area of Utah before.
just POW man when the big rocks crack is such a rush ..ever notice whos the sledge hammer man i member my friend just perfectly hitting a stone like the best swing ever

I've been in that spot a bunch of times. Some of those caves that people have dug in the hill there are pretty sketchy though. I have to say that topaz mountain is one of my favorite spots to dig in Utah. Which is saying something, considering all of the killer spots I know around here. But I would have to say that the spot where I have the most fun, is on Paul's claim for those huge golden selenite crystals. But then you already know that, I know that you have been there as well.
