Hi Andrea, I have never been to Rhinebeck, as I live nowhere near, but I went down the youtube rabbit hole of rhinebeck vlogs. Yours, by far, was the best one I watched! I really feel like I was there. Now I need to go watch your other videos and see what you made from those fab rovings!

You make beautiful things to wear!!! Well done video!

I live in Seattle, so unlikely I will ever make i to Rhinebeck, but feels like I have been there with your wonderful vlog showcasing the best bits. no need to apologize for getting raw materials you will use. It supports many small family farms, not big yarn producers.

Andrea, thanks for taking us along to Rhinebeck. I'd love to go next year. I hope you'll share your spinning journey with us! I'm a pretty new spinner (March 2021) and I'm still trying to learn ways to use hand spun in different textile projects weaving, knit, or other. p.s. cotton spinning is tricky at first but once you got it your golden and its so enjoyable. :)

Thank you so much for watching! 🥰 I'm a pretty new spinner too, and honestly, I'm a bit embarrassed to show my spinning on my channel because I'm worried people might judge me 😂😂😂 I'm slowly building a little stash of handspun yarns and hope to do a giant weaving project with all of them together someday, but it might take a little while before I have enough. Maybe it'll help me work up the courage!

I love all your videos, you're so full of energy and when you smile, I smile too. It was really nice to get to see Rhinebeck. I live in europe and to get to see this festival isn't really realistic for me. So I enjoyed this video a lot. Thanks for sharing with us your fiber adventures!

Just found your vlog and I loved seeing your experience at Rhinebeck! I haven't been able to go since 2019 for obvious reasons, and watching you explore the fair made me that much more excited about going this year. Only 37 days until we leave! Your coat on the second day was AMAZING, and if you're going to be there this year, strap in; that apple cider donut line was definitely shorter than the lst few years I was there. They're so good though!

That was so cool. No judgment I would have bought way more than you did. I wish there were Fiber Festivals in Europe. Silly me has lived in South Florida for 8 years and never thought of going to any!

I thought about going to Rhinebeck this year, but ended up not going...how cool would it have been to have seen you! Maybe next year! What a great haul! I am happy to see so many booths and attendees. I have participated in sheep to shawl competitions - including the Farm Show in Harrisburg. (you have to place in a local contest to get accepted) Love your enthusiasm and energy!

I know quite a few people who decided not to go this year and I completely understand that decision. I'd love to do a meetup next year! 😃 The Sheep to Shawl looks like SO much fun, but I'm definitely not fast or technical enough to do well in the competition 😂 I don't know if they'd appreciate my crazy woven edges hahaha but thank you so much for watching!! 😃💕

I went to saff this past weekend, but rhinebeck is going on my list! what a charming festival! i was hoping for more food options at saff but it was very limited! i am jealous!

Holy cow, it's probably good for my savings account that I didn't know about this festival when I lived in NYC and was just a fledgling knitter, but I'm going to have to plan a pilgrimage one year! And I totally want to be on your sheep to shawl team... just as soon as I learn how to spin and/or weave...

It's such a fun festival, but definitely not bank-account-friendly if you're like me and have very little self-control around yarn 😂😂😂 Definitely make the pilgrimage, it's worth it!! 😃💕

It looks like you had blast! I wish I was there but couldn’t make it. I will be there next year hopefully. Also my friend owns Maggie’s Farm Inc. !
