White Gum Wool ...she uses the sharing frames that lift the sheep and has many stories to tell of her journey.

I love the Sunday morning walking tour of the grounds-- especially without all the people-- really gives a sense of how large the festival is. (I've never been...) And wow, what great fall colors you were gifted with! AND so happy to hear you sold some wheels; that's great! (And is it okay to say how great it was to see you wearing a mask!)

Thanks Jillaine - glad you enjoyed the tour less the crowds. Masks have so many benefits other than protection from germs - don't have to wear lipstick, not worried about breath after eating artichoke french, didn't have to pluck my chin hairs, etc.

I helped show those Herdwicks on Saturday and the Rambouillet on the fitting stand on Sunday. Looks like you didn’t make it over to my actual sheep but I only made it into two of the vendor buildings so we’re even. Also got a quick glimpse of our camper in the parking lot 😂.

I bought a 1/2 lb of your fawn combed top. Its beautiful to spin. PS: Uma Thurman comes every year. Her career started as a model for Vouge knitting.

On a couple of your videos now, I’ve seen the sheep shake like dogs do when they’re wet. While watching the online content for this year’s Shetland Wool Week, they said Shetland’s are the only breed that does this. Is that true?

Well that is a shame, sorry you weren't able to shop. Last year the festival was compliant with all the covid recommendations, but this year it was up to each vendor to decide. We are maskers, just not worth the risk, and I am pretty much used to it now. Kind of like when they first started requiring seat belts. You are probably too young to remember that!

Lovely watching this - except that at one point I simply had to stop. And it was solely because of the "background music". Much of the time far too loud to be called "background", and anyway synthetic, with a loud rhythm section. Aren't we all working with something natural and usually stress reducing? Pleeease, let us just enjoy the natural surroundings! It certainly does not need anything 'exciting' to make us feel excited! You're not the only one, Jen, not at all. I had just reached my breaking point 😉
