Oh my LORD I want my youth back I want to relive my life. What you are doing is so amazing. (leave the eyelash yarn in your twill). I have been so inspired by Saori KZread clips, I have now gotten myself a Saori 60 wood loom. HIs name is Hank. Now I have 5 looms. A table loom, floor loom, a Wolf Pup, a tapestry loom, and Hank. So excited to create I don't even care what I make. Well Girl you keep at it. I love what you are doing.

Your comment absolutely made my day 🥹💕 You have an amazing loom collection!! I hope you and Hank have lots of fun creative adventures together 🥰🥰🥰 (yes, I decided to keep the eyelash yarn! It was too silly to take out).

I live in Tokyo and am going to my first Saori workshop tomorrow. After years of interest in textiles, quilts, and yarn, I am beyond excited to start weaving. Your videos are so enthusiastic and informative. What an experience in San Diego!

The 'test' piece (Coat) you made would work REALLY well for Boro . This is a Japanese sewing (mending) technique and you can easily use some of your off cut weaving. Incorporate some Sashiko with left over weaving thread and I think you might create something you really love. PS I am so glad you have this opportunity ... follow your dreams.

What fun! I’m jealous… But please tell the shop owner that I would be *thrilled* if she decided to sell patterns/layouts/instructions for these garments I’m seeing! I have such a stash of Saori yardage waiting for me to feel confident about cutting into it.

Oh, I totally forgot to mention that! It's just quilter's tape. I used it to mark exactly where on the fabric I wanted to make my cuts, then I would sew a straight line on either side of it, remove the tape, and cut the fabric. I hope that makes sense! Thank you so much for watching!!
