48 yr old Beasties fan here. You know, I didn't listen to this song for the longest time because I was afraid it wouldn't live up to my expectations. Ren proved me wrong and I have never doubt him again lol.

That was fun!!! Thanks for the announcement and great way of handling the comment, lol! Here coz you guys have great energy and I'm laughing with you! Genesis is a great song, but totally different vibe! Each song is just so frikin different, can't put our boy Ren in a box, like you said, he is on his own level, although the more you check out his stuff, you'll realize he's got several levels! If you think this is your favorite - check out Love Music pt.3!? And then maybe go to his serious stuff like Money Game 1 and 2, Life is Funny, Diazepam, Everybody Drops, Hold On, Ocean - just to list a few gems. Still waiting for the Big Push covers (I shot the sheriff/road to zion/hip hop, war pigs, etc and Originals (Sweet Little Lady (both versions of the video are good, but acoustic version is a one take video and it's fire! Love your personalities and laughter. I am 51, and I can not remember ever encountering an artist with elite talent who was even close to as diverse as Ren. This Beastie Boys' throwback was pure 🔥. Keep having fun. We can feel it.

I like watching multiple reactions because of the different things that each commentator brings. Some people are guitar players and can comment intelligently about his technique on that instrument, someone is a cinematographer and points out the fact that the camera is on a dolly during hi ren until he starts making eye contact with the camera (when it's picked up and handheld to give him more emotional visual), the voice teachers comment on his singing technique, the audio editors comment on the mixing and mics, etc... You guys just bring pure joy, curiosity and open-mindedness. I love it! Don't stop laughing.

I can’t tell you how many hundreds of reactors I have seen who watch Ren videos and say “I didn’t expect that”. And the comment about “what can’t he do?”…pretty much everybody says that the more of his music they listen to. You should definitely listen to Ren and The Big Push (his band) ‘I shot the Sheriff’ (the version with three songs listed) in his busking videos. That shows off his fire singing skills.🔥🔥

Love your reactions, be true to you and keep being authentic, like Ren. I am truly enjoying it. That is what is setting you apart from other robotic reactors.

If you want more of the lighter side of Ren's vibes all three "Love Music" parts are totally worth checking out. Still fire, but they each have great messages. Part 3 is bonkers btw.

When I was a teenager, that sound was totally new! Now hearing it being called old school makes me feel so old😅 young at heart though! This sound is from the cassette era though, long before mp3 was even invented
