New sub here from Bavaria - you guys are brilliant. In the beginning you said "it's a nine minute song" and felt a bit uncertain about how this would go, knowing nothing about Ren yet, and you made it into a 45 min. reaction and I wasn't bored for a second... I happen to be the one who initiated the very first reaction to Hi Ren, or one of the very first ones (Coffee & Reactions channel) - it doesn't really matter, just saying I've watched a whole lot of reactions to this, meanwhile it became hard to follow up, and I nearly missed your reaction, glad I didn't! as yours was really a pleasure to watch from start to finish, you are two bright young fellows, open minded, attentive, you got soul and intelligence, and you're fun to watch - just like Ren it's guys like you who are giving me hope for the future... other than with some other reactors I even enjoyed you fooling around a bit, because clearly it was not disrespect, but pure joy of discovering and dissecting (which you did glamorously, especially with no background at all...) a great work of art. It will be my pleasure to follow your journey. I don't care which Ren song you'll do next as they are all brilliant, just like J.S.Bach's or Beethoven's, my only request would be that if you pause to comment take the original video back just a little bit before you continue so you won't miss a thing and you achieve to remain the flow intact despite pausing... I know eventually you will get to them all and hit some of my favorites, there are no 'bad' ones, but each listener has his own background and will relate differently to different songs and genres, and as Ren is such a versatile artist he has many facets, some of which I love even more than the rest... Peace and love bros, in case you get any hate (no one can avoid that) for whatever: try to dance with it 💗- I do hope, Ren aside, that you will eventually get into Little Simz who in my opinion is one of the best and deepest female hip hop artists out there, that woman can sing like a bird and spit fire like a dragon, her cadence and flow prove her deeply rooted musicality and her writing as well as her beats are top tier. As with many great artists she might be even better live, but I'd ask you to start with a music video. It's not from her latest album (which is great!) but the previous one "Sometimes I Might Be Introvert" and kind of the title song and a magnum opus. Not saying it's better than her new ones, it's just epic and a good point to start from and I want to leave some room to progress forward with her catalogue for you once you got into her... So here you are, judging from your very first reaction to Ren this will be another dope as shit reaction (don't mind you cursing either, it's ridiculous what some people consider cursing or dirty language...it's about intention and context, as long as you're not hating and insulting I don't care... never force yourself to comply to anyone, just be yourselves, you're two cool dudes as you are!) - have a great day and enjoy it! Wowwww from Bavaria!!! Thank you for giving us a try!! That means a lot to us! Thank you also for the kind words and comments! We do plan on checking out some more of REN’s music! I think what really makes us like music similar to his and I only say similar to his because I’ve only heard one song by him so I can’t say “makes us like music like his”. But anyways, I love songs that have meaning behind them and not just words to make the beat sound good or just a bunch of rhymes that make no sense. Occasionally, I will listen to something like that more of rap, but I love more deep type of music. I feel like I can connect to it more and relay in some ways, depending on what the artist said. I will be sure to give Little Simz a listen! Give me a song to check out by her so I can get a feel of how she sounds, but don’t give me a song that you want us to react to! And then we will do the reaction to whichever song of your choosing! Plus music really connects to me also because I used to always write music growing up. I have so many verses, but as a kid I used to write wraps, but as I got older and started living music more, I like the more slow type of music and I would want to write songs that people can relate to, and since I don’t really write music anymore, I feel like reacting to songs that are in the field of what I would write if I made music can also help me help people at the same time and motivate them and keep them going and help heal, then just threw words and encourage them! @@TheReactTwinss No my brothers, before you do anymore Ren do us all a favor and get your approach down because you had me throwing shit at my T.V 🤣LOL and yelling "Let him f'n sing for at least 2 min" before stopping with question that is answered in the song not even 10 sec later. Man, you also don't need subtitles either. You both listen to rap all the damn time and if you pay a little more attention the English accent won't matter. At least look at some other reactors for some tips, Black Pegasus, Jamel_AKA_Jamal, Asia and BJ, Half And Jai or Lost in Vegas, they are great and have built a massive audience. A 9 min song shouldn't have more then 5 or 6 pauses max. After the song ends review and critique all you want. I wanted to sub but i got to aggravate and couldn't finish this video but I'm willing to give you guys another try, because I think you guys are funny and have a great energy and vibe, it's the execution you both need to work on. Sorry but I just wanna be real my brothers.

@@ChrisLawton66 Thanks for the advice lol. I forgot that the World is populated with a new generation of snow flakes. Not only can no one take any constructive criticism in this day and age but you get female and male Karen's; much like yourself, who stick there noses into everyone business. My comment/advice wasn't for you and it wasn't mean in nature only constructive. It was in hopes that they grow their channel into as big a success just like the channels I had mentioned. Wishing someone success and pointing out areas that could use improvement and at the same time letting them know what they did well shouldn't be a controversy. Unfortunately in today's society we can't do that, everyone is great and special in every way and every kid deserves a participation trophy.

He was signed with SONY and started getting sick and ultimately dropped by them..so until a Dr finally diagnosed him correctly with LyME disease.. but by then the damage was already done.. sometimes bedridden for 23hours a day.. he went from being “On Top” to misdiagnosed and thinking he was dying and no explanation as to why.. for 10 years.. NOW he’s in Canada getting damage fixed as best they can.. he is AMAZING in every way.. ALL of his music is.. amazing

Ren is a multi talented musician, storyteller, rap artist (his word play and lyrical acrobatics, cadence and flow switches are outstanding) performer and he produces everything himself . He is an independent artist who can turn his hand to many genres, his back catalog is vast and diverse. The Ren dive is deep. Enjoy.

Well, almost. I wouldn't call him 'sick' in the same way I use the term with serial killers and people who hurt children and animals. But every other way, absolutely. Dude is insanely talented and he deserves all the recognition and love he's now getting.

Ren is a genius. Ren is not a religious person but he appreciates the story. But even though he writes from a personal perspective it is fantastic how relatable his songs are. It seams like so many people can relate to his story - no matter how different their life is to him.

REN was bed ridden for 23 hours a day in pain from being misdiagnosed. Instead of being diagnosed of Lyme disease they diagnosed with bipolar and prescribed pills for 10 years for that. That's how his autoimmune came about. Sony was going to sign him and this song is all true to his heart.

Hey so glad you guys reacted to Ren. I was about to recommend this to you guys. This is literally the most amazing artist musician of our time. He does this and his other videos live in 1 take which is unreal! He was misdiagnosed with many illnesses and was stuck in home for years as a result. Recently he was just correctly diagnosed with lymes disease unfortunately a lot of health issues and permanent damage occured to him as a result of the failures of the medical community that failed him. Luckily Ren is receiving much needed treatment in Calgary Canada right now. So keep him in your prayers. He was in a band called the big push. Also amazing. He was signed by Sony who foolishly dropped him because of his health. But in retrospect I think it was the best thing that could of happened if they hadn't dropped him he wouldn't be this masterful artist we get to witness. He would be controlled and puppeteered by Sony. He is brilliant and so so very kind. Check out his entire catalogue there's not a bad track. I would start with the trilogy jenny's tale,screech's tale and violets tale his story telling is perfection unmatched. Some others I'd react to first would be chalk outlines, money game part 1 and 2, the hunger, how to be me, dear God even his busking videos are unbelievable. Thought I responded sorry about that! But hey thank you for the love and support! And even subbing!!!!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Trust me we will be diving head first into the Ren rabbit hole! We’ve only heard great things! We should be uploading Wednesday and Thursday when I get back home! And it’s okay though! We wasn’t expecting all subs we have got! At least not that fast! We were only 1 video into doing reactions! And they jumped up. Then many recommended Ren then they jumped up more! It’ll take time and we understand that. So there’s no rush at all. Great reaction, guys. You guys are very insightful. The pig/butcher represents the medical community, which did Ren wrong for so long. He literally has PTSD as a result of his experiences with doctors. The devil voice is his inner demon, his dark shadow, his inner saboteur, and also his disease (Lyme Disease, misdiagnosed for years), which keeps kicking up and bringing him intense physical pain. But the way through is not to defeat and crush his dark side (impossible) but to accept and go forward, feeding the other things in you that are as eternal as that darkness. He uses religious imagery, because those are powerful symbols in our culture, but all of these voices and strengths and demons are inside Ren.

Ren is currently in Canada receiving treatment for all the damage his lyme diesease that went undiagnosed for so many years has done. He will be there for several months, but he has a great catalog to draw from for now. He is amazing !! 💗

@@TheReactTwinss Everyone is going and liking his page and he posts daily updates usually, but had surgery and said his head was swollen like a chipmunks cheeks.. It’s ALL So DEEP.. and I swear he has a cache of insanely great music.. I’m so glad y’all enjoyed him! It’s been about a month and I still only just scratched the surface! He was also a Busker in Brighton! It’s so much I can’t even explai!

I subscribed to you after watching several of your reactions. Your honest, open and real reactions are exactly what I crave. This was the best breakdown I've seen yet. And I have seen many. Acknowledging good art is a quality of a real honest human. All art is meant as an expression into the world in order to move hearts and minds. A great artist only wants his or her product to move others. Our interpretations never have to be the same as others. Thank you this was fantastic.

Great reaction, guys! For the 'brighter the light, the darker the shadow it casts' part, I always interpreted this to mean 'the better things get, the higher the risk of losing it all'. He makes the same reference in Chalk Outlines: "I'm scared of being ok, 'cause all things change."

Just found your reactions to Ren so working backwards. Enjoying both of your enthusiasm. Hi from Australia. Others have mentioned Ren's background and what's he's been through. Just want to add my own context to what Ren said about learning to relax. It's on one hand learning to accept your limits and as one of you said taking it one step at a time. Seen this in many I know who live with chronic illness. Always plays on your mind. This doesn't mean you give up, it just means there is only so much you can do with how little energy you have each day. Still amazing to see what Ren has continued to create and share despite how much his illness has limited him.

Awesome reaction!!! I think you guys are the only ones that made the connection between this song and NF's Hope, a coincidence or the magic of collective consciousness at play? And Falling in Reverse released Voices in My Head not long ago - it's just something we are all dealing with and facing our own demons, fighting our inner battles - the outside world is the reflection of our inner world. If you stumbled on Ren, you're in for journey - so much diversity there, you will not know what hit you from song to song, genre from genre - he's got it all. We are both looking forward to a wonderful journey that leaves everybody happy in the end, and during the whole process. With the amount of used and people that has came to our channel and subscribe, we was never expecting it at all so all of these comments and views and recommendation to listen to Ren has leaved us speechless!

Man, I am so glad I found your channel. I didn't discover it with THIS reaction. I, like so many others, fell into the Ren rabbit hole a little while ago... and I'll be honest... I saw the recommended video section with two dudes in a car in the thumbnail over and over and was like... "what? I don't know about that". Then I let curiosity take me and, damn! You two are hilarious, yet you two are so ON IT! You nail so much in your interpretation of the songs. You're so there for the art. The creation. The passion. I've seen (at this point) about four of your Ren reactions already and as I've watched so many 'Hi Ren' reactions - I left this one until later. To have a little rewind, if you will. I loved that I could laugh along at you two at times,... then feel the moments that hit deep. Like I said at that start; glad I was lucky enough to find you guys. Mannnn thank you so much😭🙏🏼 Especially since we’re only a month in to doing these and this being our second video. It is such a long video and one of our worries was will be people actually watch it? But we just acted ourself and came to realization we can’t start everyone, the ones who want to watch will and the ones who won’t, wont. That’s out of our control. But let’s not let that change who we are and what we do when making OUR reaction channel and videos. It’s for the audience yes but for the audience who wants to watch what we put out with no problem. The ones who don’t care how long the videos are and the ones like yourself who understand why we have long videos. And pause so much. We both LOVEEEE the hidden message, metaphors, the imagery in the music and videos! Deep music is like our thing man. I’ve always said if I kept writing music it would be deep music people can relate to. Relationship stuff especially because it’s one of the biggest topics that cause suicide as well. And those conversations and songs can get super deep. I actually wrote a verse before andddddd my fiancé didn’t like it😞 It was too deep and she thought it was referring to one of my exes. It wasn’t though but I did pull emotions out from past experiences. Just not specifically about a specific ex you know? Anyways back on topic we live the art of music. Music that has art and meaning! Deep meaning! But thank you so much for giving us a chance🖤🙏🏼

I’m so proud of complete strangers understanding that life is easier when you slow down. The world is so fast nowadays with instant gratification that fi;is forget to slow down and enjoy the journey. I’ve been thru some stuff that I wouldn’t wish on anyone but I wouldn’t trade my reality for anything. I’m not into the god idea or the devil but to me that’s no matter. You should just watch hi Ren a few more times and you will pick up more and more from it every time. I've probs watched 100 reactions of it and listened to the actual track easily as many times again, but as you will see from his other tracks he can do anything from rap, singing, playing guitar, piano, and a storyteller he is pretty amazing

My take on life is that worrying about things you have no control over is pointless... Enjoy the good times but be accepting that bad things will happen because in all things there will be balance...
