I’m pretty sure that after copyright release the video will be marked as unsuitable for advertising, because of the subject matter. Hopefully you’ll still do the Ren stuff as a labor of love, but I’ve seen others say that the video will get demonetized after CR is released.

Ren is a freaking prodigy! He is his own genre. I absolutely love every song. Please react to more Ren! This ending totally freaked me out!

It's a tale of the cycle of generational abuse. The dad sexually molested violet but she was a silent girl so she said nothing. "Violet was a silent girl. She moved out at 16 ... she met a boy named Stevie and he was a little prick. Violet was a silent girl but Violet she fell fast (in love). See Stevie a wrong one but he sure knew how to charm her ". Stevie was nice at first but then started beating her black and blue. Jenny instinctually behaved like the mother (was silent just like her mother and froze "stood as still as a statue" when dealing with an aggressive person just like her mother behaved. Screech instinctually behaved just like the Jenny and Screech's father. "History repeats itself." Their father killed their mother (Violet) so it makes since that they were put into the system. I think that y'all may have missed that their actual names were Jenny and James, "his mates called him Screech".

I love you two lol😂😂 Ren is insanely talented. Violet was abused by her father and then got a boyfriend who also abused her. Her twin babies Jenny and Screech took on each parent's personality. Screech was violent like his father and Jenny was silent and meek like her mother. Genesis would be a good distraction from the heaviness of this one.

Y'all are funny and fun to watch. Ren seems to be touching so many millions of people of all types. He brings us all together with relatability and lifts us all up into a community of people that in turn lifts him up and all the musicians he plays with. Thats what hes all about and his seemingly unending talent makes it look easy but hes been at this since he was like 12 or something and i think hes 32 now. Maybe hes blowing up now because the world needs this. We could all stand some uplifting and unity as one people.

He posted a video of his phone getting stolen in the street, and he pretended it was real - even deleted all his contacts so his friends (other than those in on it) thought it was real. He then posted videos online as if Screech was using his phone and taking videos which included Patrick and his girl. It was so realistic that he was threatened with bans from social media. One of the videos even showed Screech being taken to hospital after he was shot - he died in hospital, not on the street. I think they're somewhere on KZread but I couldn't find them. They may be on Ren's Facebook page.

If you boys like and appreciate all and any kind of music that speaks to you, may I recommend a band called "Gang Of Youths". They are made up of multi national members but hail from Australia. The lead singer (David Le'aupepe) is part Samoan, brought up in Australia and has the typical "no nonsense" and "straight talking" Australian manner to his song writing and just in general. He doesn't sensor himself, he's a freaking breathe of fresh air and man, some of the things he says, the man is just a beautiful human being! One particular song that I find really touching is called "Brothers". It's just David singing over piano about discovering brothers he never knew he had. It's a very captivating story, just like our boy REN does here with "The Tales of Jenny and Screech" and he wears his heart on his sleeve with some raw emotion, but with a very powerful message at the end about forgiveness. Kind of like "Hi REN" reminding us we are all human.

It's musical theatre. Ren's incredible

Lol Its hard to understand how folks miss things that aren't vague or.open to interpretation sometimes. However it's easy to discount how many times I've heard it and the clarity that comes along with that.

I think they might have missed it because they were trying to avoid YT’s copyright disputes which requires pausing every 30 seconds or so. When you’re forced to pause frequently like that, it’s easy to miss details. Even with that, I loved their reaction to this. This is one of my all-time favorite reaction videos for this trilogy.

I've not only been relistening to this song, but reaction videos, because I honestly cannot believe how powerful this story is. I have to point out that his guitar playing is not just good, it's ridiculous. The way he uses two simple chords to tell a tale, the skill he displays there in the beginning of Violet's tale, I don't remember what it's called but on an acoustic guitar it's really difficult. His story telling through lyrics, music and cinemetography is legendary. Did you know it's just him and a friend? Like this isn't some big production, it's a couple of guys. And he is playing live in those videos. It's insane.

I've volunteered for 3 of his concerts when he came to Ut. He's such an amazing young man who really cares about his fans.

On a stage you are surrounded by 3 walls to the sides and back. When you speak in the narrative directly to the audience is is called 'breaking the fourth wall'. When Stevie is attacking Violet he speaks to us directly when he says "In character, she stays silent". Freaking amazing.

We all experience the REN world in astonishment - What a phenom he is - from the UK - great to see you reactions - we all had the same experience of that trilogy lol :) One of my favourites at present is OCEAN its not intense and has a kind of cotton field blues feel about it also DIAZIPAM each song stands alone in his genius - I wish you well and glad to see your reactions love it !! lol

Good job. Each song done in a single take, not a studio recording dubbed on to video - all live performances, making the video. Screech's GF was "busy", guess where Patrick was :) At the end of Screech's Tale - he says "our story it ends right at the *start*, young Screech and poor Jenny lying one street apart". They could have grown up since birth a street apart never knowing each other. Stevie was an abusive BF and the dad. Violet birthed twins & dies in 2005, fourteen years later (2019) - Screech and Jenny being 14 when he kills her, having no idea she was his twin sister. Screech took on Stevie's traits, Jenny took Violets.

Welcome to Rens beautifully twisted universe.

(Little details that make the story even better.) 1. Her father is unnamed but is physically and sexually abusive. "He tucked her in but stayed in the room, her mother knew what he did." 2. She moved out at 16 and met Stevie, who turned out to be abusive, also physically and sexually. "He tucked her in tight but didn't leave the room. History repeats itself, he beats her black and blue." 3. Violet was probably 17 when she had her twins and died. 4. In Jenny's Tale, Ren says Screech is 14, meaning both of them died like 1st year of highschool max. 5. In Screech's Tale, he ends with "Our story ends at the start." Because all of them weren't even legal adults before they died. Also I love that both of you paid actual attention to the story. Most other reactions focused on the music and laughed their way through the death of teenagers.

Going to jump to your defence here. The crucial part you missed about Stevie, I've seen other people miss too. The reason is because Ren moves into the hallway while he's singing about Violet's parents, then the camera moves away from Ren while he's telling you she has a flat and works in Tesco and met a guy called Stevie who "was a little prick". While the camera is moving, it increases the echo in the hallway because there is a mic on the camera as well as the one that Ren is wearing. This extended echo catches a lot of people just because it sounds so impressive and really highlights that you are hearing natural reverb instead of digital reverb. Ren then starts walking towards the camera reducing the echo. So you don't get to the line that he knew how to charm her, until he is out of the corridor. I enjoyed your reaction. Please don't take to heart any of the people complaining.

Possibly the best reaction I’ve seen to the ending out of the 30+ that I’ve watched. London is nice and pretty and ultra expensive and all that shite but the London knife crime is insane. Luckily I live in the country and we don’t experience that but I’d hate to live anywhere near London.
