Playing guitar on a rooftop with Steve Vai is basically every guitarists dream.
Both your faces at Scott's shred run after his go on the throne was priceless. Same reaction on every video I've seen. First one of your vids I've sent but great reaction chemistry, unique spin on this type of video. Love the fact your wife is so controlled and measured whilst you've got a massive grin on your face the whole time just bursting out at the seams, but at the same time, there are sections of the song she aslo just can't but help grin along too. Really enjoyed your vid.
Chod, Dee will like "ABC" by Polyphia. It's got a guest vocalist, Sophia Black, and it's like metal/pop/r&b crossover. These guys are so good, they can do almost anything and make it sound good.
Some great songs to check out by them are G. O. A. T.,. Goose, 40oz, and Playing God. Chimera is also a must if you'd like to hear a rap feature in their music My favorite song of theirs though is Icronic. There isn't a music video for it necessarily but their drummer Clay Aeschliman does have a video of his drums for the song. I literally watch that one every day, it's so good.
First time seein this,Ty guys...this performance is awesome..pushin the boundaries once again...
y'all ain't ready! Polyphia so technically brilliant. I love G.O.A.T. It's a few years older than this but still goes. EDIT: And you already reacted to it! Wilburn Reaction GOAT'd
I highly suggest their video Look, But Don't Touch. It's a wild ride of a song and a bonkers video to boot. Released on April Fools too. XD
Start with their song "The Worst " it's so dope!!!!
I feel like if you are a drummer "the audacity" is gonna blow your mind

OD and Icronic are also good drum songs too. Clay went nuts on those two songs.
Love that this album started and ended with Brasstracks
Steve Vai also was a stunt guitarrist on Jonah Nilsson's (Dirty Loops) "Diamond Ring Need I say.... 🔥🔥🔥
Two of Stevie Vai's mentors were Joe Satriani and Frank Zappa...this is choice material guys...thanks
You two need to check out some more Polyphia songs, love the reaction!
just a tidbit: you should point the mic towards you guys like a regular handheld mic. it'll sound much better. in the video, it's pointed at the ceiling.
Another super guitar God here...Ty guys
I’ll play this with them on 7/19 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin!
yep, there's definitely a similar vibe to dirty loops at the start
Hi guys! There's a band my brothers and I use to listen to named Disciple. They have a song named Scars Remain. I'd recommend listening to it!
Poe - Lif - Fee - Uh Lots of people get it wrong, I just try to help because it's an amazing band, and I hope more people learn who they are!
Check out Chimera, playing god and ABC, you won't even realize it's the same band
for another instrumental yall should check out BAND MAID -- from now on
You just now reacting to Polyphia goat, you must be on them cookies 😂
Steve Vai is the older guy with the shorter hair. As someone else already said he schooled under Frank Zappa and Joe Satriani. More Steve Vai. Frank Zappa, too.
Hey, you should definitely check out Steve vai teeth of the hydra official video, awesome thanks request 😀
When I first came across this video, I was like "heck yea..Steve Via". When he finally came on, I was like "I almost forgot Steve was even in this video.
Great reaction!! Check out GOAT by Polyphia and also check out Chimera by Polyphia and Bloodbath by Polyphia. You’ll thank me.
My feeling towards Polyphia is a really mixed on. I really appreciate what they do. Their talent is just amazing. But I just don't love their music. I've played guitar for over 35 years now. I studied classical and jazz in college and when I hear Polyphia play I'm in awe of what they are doing. It's a really cool study piece but in the end - I just wouldn't listen to it for pleasure. I'm sure others would and that's great, it's just not for me.

Their music is something that i consider to be music for musicians. Absurdly complex, each one of them being unbelievably talented, but its music that the average person won't appreciate. Being able to appreciate the music without enjoying it is something very few people can do nowadays. So props to you on that one
Puhh-liff-ee-uh
And they do all that without changing keys, tempos or time signatures...
Polyphia is a bit polarizing. To guitar players like me and to those that like intricate, melody laden music, they are extremely entertaining. However, they have developed a certain style, a sound, that is repeated, a lot. To some, you say, well a lot of bands have a defining sound. The criticism with Polyphia seems to be that some believe they have become so niche, that unless you're dissecting the notes, all songs have the same basic structure and sound the same. I like them, my guitar teacher literally can't stand them...to each their own.
You should really REALLY do Playing god, and afterwards Tim Henson`s unplugged playtrough...
