"Police believe to identify human remains found in Salford torso inquiry" I'm not a journalist, I don't have an editor, I don't have a duty to be accurate, but I would have started with "police believe they have identified" or "police believed to have identified"... Did you get your job based on ability or were you 'profiled' into a role so that specific boxes can be ticked?
This is horrific, thoughts are with the deceased family's loved ones.
