Let me tell you a story. I was at my editing bay one afternoon, three years ago, when I decided to create a Pink Floyd video performing one of my favorite songs, "Time". I wanted to bring together, even if by "video magic", the original members of my favorite band, so I downloaded videos of a performance by David Gilmour in Poland, another one by Roger Waters in Mexico and a third one, from "Pulse" (for images of Nick Mason). In a few hours the video was ready. It was just a tribute to Pink Floyd and an editing exercise. I uploaded it to KZread, and explained in the DESCRIPTION that this was just a editing exercise. It was August 2017. So, three years later, the video has over 23 million views, something I could never have expected. For some reason, thousands of people were touched by the video in some way. But I was surprised by the amount of offensive comments I got; it was as if I had committed a "crime", as if my aim, from the beginning, was to deceive viewers. Even if I made it clear that the video was put together from different concerts, many viewers were offended. BUT there were also hundreds of positive comments, and millions of views. People who were touched by the music. And a lot of people who really believed that the video showed a "reunion" between Waters, Gilmour, Mason and Wright, even though it is obvious that they are at different concerts. Thank you so much to all of you who, like me, love Pink Floyd's music. This video took on a life of its own and I am always surprised by the amount of views and the reactions (positive and negative) that it entices.

David and Roger have most likely seen this video. You’ve given them both an insight on what a reunion what be like and how much it would mean to the fans of Pink Floyd. This is the last song my father heard when he was dying in hospital. He had loved this song his entire life, it was symbolic to him. We were in his room to say our last goodbyes, he was already kind of unconscious, but we never know... I played this song to him from my phone. It was powerful, intense, and perhaps kind of relieving. It may have been my imagination, but in my memory he appeared a bit more relaxed during the song, and after it. I'll never know. I prefer to think that he listened.

I'm 55. Me and my friend were 16. Listening to this on his room with our first joint. We were soooo happy. Life went on. I moved to ireland, he moved to Argentina. Last year we met again after so many years in our hometown Bruges. We listened again, again with a joint after spool many years. And again we were sooooo happy. Nice memories. Understanding each other without words......

My God. This song hit so differently watching them perform it when they’re old men. I’m so used to listening to this album with their young youthful voices, seeing how time affects a human being, while singing about it, really makes you think.

Wow, I know exactly what you mean. This impacted me the same way 22 years ago, I broke out in tears. It's 2022 this song time truly transcends time, I'm laying on my bed and I'm listening to the album and it's still one of the best albums I've ever listened to. I'm very lucky to have found such old treasure at this day and age

Just reunited with some old bandmates and instead of playing the awful stuff we did in the day we decided to play songs that we all love and time/breath reprise was the first song we went with. Dark side of the moon is an amazing piece of art.

Its syd n rogers band to me always will be. The pink floyd sound. Sadly syds health seen him omitted. David had come onboard.....gilmour is the most competent musician, he is esteemed by all guitarists....but roger waters is the creative genius of pink floyd, by some. Their halcyon days saw waters write most tunes and the album concepts where his alone, he wrote wall alone, demigod. I agree that Pink Floyd songs will live on forever , long after music radio is gone i believe. David Gilmour is releasing videos more and more now. As he said in 2021 he will be turning 80, and will not be able to give the shows / concerts. He just doesn't have the energy anymore to do concert after concert, traveling around the world. 2.5 years ago I walked out of a Roger Waters concert, all so political , to a point so left of center , in my opinion. Even though Pink Floyd was or touched on political drama of the times to David it's all about the music where Roger said it's all about the politics. And I believe it is why David won't ever play with Roger again. He is adamant not to. Sad that it has gotten this way, But I so understand Davids decisions.

As you grow up you deeply understand how gigantic this album is ! 😮The meaning that you gave him when you first hear it suddenly start to change as you grow older! The sun is the same but in a relative way you’re older appears to you and tell’s you that we are not immortal! Every time i listen this song makes me feel that for one time only someone in another era had my same feelings! Someone out there brings the same scars like you! We are not alone!Long last pink floyd!!!!

Bless Mr. Gilmour's hands, that so much have given to this world.

Шедевры нашей молодости... Незабываемая музыка, прекрассное исполнение... Мне 60, но вкусов со временем не потерял. Всегда с удовольствием слушаю музыку60-70-80годов с удовольствием и с ноткой грусти о прошедших временах, когда всю эту музыку доставали с трудом, делали перезаписи на простеньких магнитофонах.

actually the ticking clocks on the studio recording were done with antique clocks recorded 1 by 1 and edited to make one track this track was the first to try out Quadraphonic sound, when you play it with headphones on you must have noticed? the sound is like swirling. brings a tear to my eye this song. And then one day you find ten years have got behind you No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun🌓

@@garethwest9069 If you watch, he only swaps out (dials his bass down) when singing and even then he only swaps out on certain songs, like this one, when singing. He does what sounds best for the listener.

А мне 68, 50-слишним лет слушаю П.ФЛОЙД. Без ума от них, обажаю и люблю. Легендарная группа, красавчики великой эпохи. Мне посчастливилось побывать на концерте Р.ВАТЕРА когда он приезжал на гастроли в Стамбул. Это было потрясающе видеть и слышать его. Я счастлив что дожил до этих времен.
