I'm going to be honest, at first this song was interminable to listen to, after some time, I got hooked and kept incessantly listening to it, something about this song is so beautiful...

The song is weak and mediocre. No development, monotony. It’s not difficult to come up with this kind of music; you don’t need any talent or skill, you only need basic knowledge of music theory. And if there are studio opportunities, such music can be presented effectively and exotically. In general, Pink Floyd is pretentious junk.

The day I visited it was feckin closed :( For no other reason than bloody David Gilmour, who was performing there that night (See Live at Pompeii 2017). I had absolutely no idea he was performing and we couldn’t get tickets for love nor money. Whenever I watch this video, I think of me stood outside, arms crossed and annoyed that I can’t see inside of the amphitheater, like a social conservative in the 60s 😂 Ah well. I have a funny tale to tell and I can watch the performance anytime on Blu-ray 🎸 👍🏽

I am a reggae fan, but I love all good music. This one one of the greatest musical masterpiece of all time with dark side of the moon

This is the best version of the song. Pure addiction.

I went to Pompeii few days ago, I put my headphones on and played songs from this concert, TDSOTM and Meddle. Amazing experience, I just felt like I was in 1973, didn't even realize the walk lasted almost 4 hours.

The thing I find most amazing is that they have plaques on the wall commemorating the great event. The locals remember two times in history...Vesuvius and Pink Floyd.

dude the first time I saw this I had just gotten insanely stoned for the first time and I legit felt like the piano player/vocalist was Jesus Christ lol. I was so baked I thought Jesus Christ was a vocalist in Pink Floyd.

Gilmour's guitar work marvelous. Wright's keyboards weirdly fantastic. Mason's percussion mesmeric. Waters' bass work f***king awesome. What a shame this band disbanded.

I can say he does have a fairly impressive vocal range, but I don't know how much of that is due to post production. K-Pop is something I don't care about and don't even want to listen to.

I could never truly "get" Floyd, until I watched this on television a few years ago & this track grabbed my attention. I'd always been into the Syd Barrett era, but this track is a piece of pure beauty, genius & the true essence of art in musical form...

I was there today what a amazing experience they have a exhibition and photos for the band i grew up listening to Floyd I always wanted to see it And now I have I was filled with some much emotions Thinking of my late brother who gave me the gift of pink Floyd

This world is billions of years old. And we have the pleasure to be here together with Pink Floyd.

Thank you David Gilmour for giving us amazing music and remaining humble Thank you Roger for providing some of the most detailed and meaningful lyrics ever put into a song Thank you Nick for being able to stick with the band as it’s only constant member, shining through always. Thank you Rick for taking the harsh words of roger and dealing with being so underrated despite your crucial contributions. And thank you Syd, for giving Pink Floyd a life-long legacy and giving them a reason to play.

Man thank Pink Floyd both past and present. Their music remains and will remain timeless. Already immortalized by innovation they pioneered and many other bands of the time pioneered beautiful era for music. Wonder what our generation of music will have to say about us rn.

Listening to Pink Floyd brings calm to our soul. In this chaotic world, it is at the end of the night that I have some peace. Thank you for existing and making my existence a little less painful.

Cooler than all of hip-hoppers combined!

My pops died last october at the age of 60 from health problems and this was his favorite song. He tought me about music at an early age and to love the classic rock period and I will listen to this song 5 times a week just to think about my pops, the legend and just how absolutely badass he was! I have my first kid due in about a month and I will teach him to love Pink Floyd as well!

Which show/year? My first concert ever was Floyd at county stadium in Milwaukee on September 30, 1987. I was 10 years old and we had field passes so you could walk right up to the stage. Me and my dad!

ECHOES is the most important song ever written, to me, listening to it takes me back to mooses grandmothers house in the 70s, listening to meddle in various states of mind..he had a great german shepherd that he named echo...it was a wild time ,but i survived , and still love this song

The Meddle album and especially this song.. 9th grade, sleepover at my friends, watching the shoreline across the street, the light dance upon the water.. and her lava lamp. It was sooo cool. 🌠👋 I couldnt get enough of this song.
