You know, I am GenX, 78, but here is the problem, the boomer generation has so much distain for their grandchildren, they will likely bury everything that the boomers hold dear, just to despite you. If you all acted like you gave a shit about anybody but yourselves for more than half a second, this probably wouldn't be the case, but it is what it is. I mean, how fucking stupid do you have to be to disrespect someone before you ask them for a favor.
Western music has peaked. This generation can only look on with slack-jawed awe at the quality of what passed before

Действительно Хит на все времена, сколько лет! А слушаешь с удовольствием! Браво! Иглз!
A true and timeless masterpiece.
Lyrics : On a dark desert highway Cool wind in my hair Warm smell of colitas Rising up through the air Up ahead in the distance I saw a shimmering light My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim I had to stop for the night There she stood in the doorway I heard the mission bell And I was thinkin' to myself "This could be heaven or this could be hell" Then she lit up a candle And she showed me the way There were voices down the corridor I thought I heard them say "Welcome to the Hotel California Such a lovely place (such a lovely place) Such a lovely face Plenty of room at the Hotel California Any time of year (any time of year) You can find it here" Her mind is Tiffany-twisted She got the Mercedes-Benz, uh She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys That she calls friends How they dance in the courtyard Sweet summer sweat Some dance to remember Some dance to forget So I called up the Captain "Please bring me my wine" He said, "We haven't had that spirit here Since 1969" And still, those voices are calling From far away Wake you up in the middle of the night Just to hear them say "Welcome to the Hotel California Such a lovely place (such a lovely place) Such a lovely face They're livin' it up at the Hotel California What a nice surprise (what a nice surprise) Bring your alibis" Mirrors on the ceiling The pink champagne on ice And she said, "We are all just prisoners here Of our own device" And in the master's chambers They gathered for the feast They stab it with their steely knives But they just can't kill the beast Last thing I remember I was running for the door I had to find the passage back To the place I was before "Relax, " said the night man "We are programmed to receive You can check out any time you like But you can never leave!"

It maybe crazy but I cannot just read the lyrics without the beats and following as singing the song.
I have never understood how Don Henley can play the drums and sing at the same time so perfectly. Truly an amazing band with an amazing singer

There is a great documentary of Eagles, and in it Glenn Frye explained that he was the original lead singer, but Don Henley had the best voice in the band. So Don sang.

Волшебство и профессионализм в каждой ноте этого произведения. Такой фантастической мелодии уже никто и никогда не создаст. БРАВО!!!
Crazy they’re all about 29 here, not even 30 yet! ❤
They just don't make music like this anymore. This is talent, the lyrics, the melody, the instruments. Just absolute talent all round. Great song!

Look up Levon Helm of The Band start with “Ophelia “from The Last Waltz , Then “Don’t Do It” live version , then “Life Is A Catnivsl “ live then W. S. Walcott’s Medicine Show” live then “ Up On Cripple Creek” live then “ Remedy “ live , then finish with “ The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down “ from The Last Waltz . Don Henley says Levon was a major influence on him be definitely check him out

This song is a true classic! The guitar playing is absolutely amazing. No wonder it is considered one of the greatest rock songs of all time. The talent and skill of the musicians shine through every melody and solo. This is a timeless classic that never disappoints🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
The word "masterpiece" is a huge understatement for this song. Almost 50 years since it was released and we still love the quailty of the music, lyrics, etc.

What a classic! Enjoying this since the 70's.
My older cousins brought me to this concert. I was 9. They had to sneak me in with their jackets. They were babysitting me. I'll never forget it. Randy Meisner RIP. ❤❤
The ability to simultaneously play the drums and be on vocals is incredible. Especially for a masterpiece like this.

Is this skilled talent or talented skill?
This was in 1977, we're in 2023 now and yet it's so hard to find artists who can sing live that well! I'm a guy who is into almost all genres of music. Blues, jazz, rock, dance, hip-hop, raggae, trap, rnb, you name it, if it sounds good, i like it, but this piece right here is special. Defenitely holds a spot in my top 10 songs of all time. Glad that you're here too, seems you've got a pretty good taste in music as well🙏🏼❤️

This is a classic it never gets old it gets better every time you listen to it it's like a bottle of fine wine it just gets better with age
There is a reason anytime a poll is taken of the greatest rock songs of all time, this masterpiece composition is at least in the top 3 if not #1 itself. Like a fine wine, it only gets better with age. And in my humble opinion, this version, when the Eagles were at their pinnacle, is the best version ever recorded.
