CEASE AND DESIST DEMAND. Pursuant to Title 17 of the United States Code. March 10, 2024. But seriously, can the Eagles just STOP doing everything they can to ruin my fondness of the band since my childhood in the 1970's! PLEASE? I bought your albums multiple times since... I patiently waited for "Hell to Freeze..." HOW MUCH MORE MONEY DO YOU NEED?

Eagles' 5-part harmonies are phenomenal. So naturally talented that they sound just as good live as their studio-ized recordings.

Mate there are no songwriters. There is AI, a synthesiser, music & marketing executives deciding what new sh!t to peddle to middle/upper class kids/teens & a dirtier version with those a little rough around the edges. This is the age of the producer, programming a synthesiser with funky beats (bass)/ percussion, simple synthetic melody & rhythm. You need a lyricist to go/flow with it. High female sexuality emulating strip clubs are promoted & Disney's tinkerbell image. Then there are probably LGBTA tropes. Then for masculinity, because they hijacked the rap genre from protest against the establishment (themselves included) & Gestapo, some petty crime (American speak = misdemeanour) is a pre-requisite with lyrics containing as much profanity as possible while demeaning/endearing each other with a slur (they apparently own) and obviously, obscene jewelry, obscene hyper/highend exec cars, many proverbial "rap-ho's", obscene dental work, obsene fashion, tatoos(no gender bias) stunning mansions, wads of cash etc. Just like Mozart or Wagner this music will retreat to the ears of the privileged as we fade out of existance. Ironically, perfect timing & harmony is what makes music great but the same time will erase it when everyone alive forgets. 😂 I will be enjoying/listening to these magnificent tracks to my final days, if I am lucky to. I suppose most who appreciate Wagner, Mozart, Vivaldi etc might refer to this as folk music. To each their own. I enjoy both 😂

@@thenerktwins Its a tough one mate, I have a neighbour more like a nephew who has become a talented rock guitarist. In a weird irony, I had a Casiotone in the 80s which provided another neighbour the inspiration to study music. I can't play still 😂. The same neighbour gave this baby, he is a fully grown man now, lessons. When I heard him play, I smiled sarcastically at him. Being a fatherly figure I had to share this cold fact with him. Classic Rock left the mainstream by the 90s. I would call, Bryan Adams/Dire Straits/Fleetwood Mac etc to be the last who fell under the mainstream. I would not inlude Nirvana or Metallica because I don't know a single song of theirs. I told him the only market he would have are oldtimers. Any person in my demographic, his or younger demographics would have almost zero demand for his type of music. Sad truth, the first American export musically was, big band/New Orleans Jazz. I still remember those tunes which when I was a kid was popular to the 60+ brigade. I would have liked to go for tap dance lessons. Who except you & those watching this clip even knows what that was/is 😂. Then came boogie-oogie, we now have genres I do not understand nor care about. So will the person who will not watch this performance. Cheers mate.

I agree today’s music is just rushed to get it out there. We need an artist to step up and create music with meaning like this one.

You’re right about that, and I do have a copy of Felder’s Book Heaven and Hell, My Life In the Eagles 1974-2001, it’s really good to read!!!

Brilliant work by Felder, pity he's not with them now, genius guitarist.
The best band ever ❤❤❤
Was fortunate to see the Eagles in 1980. Saw them sing this and many other songs at this stage in their careers. Tickets were only $6.50. I will never forget how awesome they were. Great concert.
Who remembers the brilliant band and the great times

Definitely my favorite Eagle’s song, they wrote this song in 1971 if I’m not mistaken it was in a bar in California.

I thought Randy Meisner wrote it (?). Although I’m sure everybody contributed elements.
Oh yahh. Amazing 70s music.
Awesome voices 😊
The Eagles were really on that night, and this great song perfectly performed, with great harmonies. Great smooth vocals by Glenn Frey, and we'll all miss the genius he brought to the music industry. RIP Glenn. The whole band was really on the money that evening.

FYI, the newly remastered 1977 video has had the audio autotuned/pitch corrected. Here's a video showing this kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z6Sg1KiclbCwqKg.html

This is about as tight as a band can get in front of an audience. Simply phenomenal.

The absolute greatest musical group of the 1970’s. They will always be my number one favorite of all time. RIP Glen.
I love the Eagles & all their music!! You can’t get better than the Eagles!❤❤❤
What a song, band so melodic even if you don’t know the lyrics you know them they fall out so beautifully such an amazing piece
cant thank you enuff!!!!
Man this band had it all. Bob ross Henly with catchy voice with incredible drum playing, Jesus Christ Felder with incredible technical spot on guitar playing, Mickey mouse Walsh witb funky goofy guitar playing, Hulk hogan Frey with Melodic voice and good acoustic rythm, Angelic Meisners with higher pitch vocal with spot on bass playing. If they didn't had any conflicts and if this lineup stayed throughout the 80's this band would be the greatest of all time.
