I met my now wife back in late 2005, while we were both single travellers, meeting briefly , by chance , on a trip to Jordan, and walking Petra on Christmas Day... We eventually got together, and have since travelled the world, to more than 100 countries since... Our retirement has been a blast, influenced by my many years of guitar playing and singing. Always been a Sting fan, but more so as when my wife and I had some difficult years before getting together before I retired, a close friend gave us this song as 'our song' and it has been so ever since, and Ive had the privilege on a number of trips to be able to perform this to audiences, and especially dedicate it to her... Always our song, one of the best, from one of the best song-writers of the last few decades.... Happy memories... for ever.. !!

It almost feels wrong to think Lucid Dreams was an original beat, but it makes sense that it's so good because, I mean, it's Sting and Juice. Two great music producers imo.

One of the greatest songs ever written. Ridiculously good main riff guitar intro, world class lyrics, awesome bridge, expert level playing all around.

I've been reviewing music lyrics from my era and just before, especially stuff like this that it is reported were essentially dreamed. Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song is like this too. Early Powderfinger, and say "Blind eye" by Hunters and Collectors too. Quite a few levels to the poetry.

This song was played at the end of the movie "Leon" and I'm just realizing it's describing Leon, the assassin in the movie perfectly. Brilliant how he associates suits of cards with certain aspects of life.
