    You mention sugar content of various beverages, but not an energy equivalent, i.e. equivalent exercise time. Also, I like wine, usually XD (less than 10gr/l). What are the exercise equivalents for an 8 oz. glass? I am also unable to do high intensity exercise or walk long distances. What alternatives are there?

    I’m 80 years old, play morning tennis 2x m/week, attend a mid morning body conditioning class 3x/week and need fuel to perform on this schedule. I think the best that i can do is increase my protein the rest of day. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    I have love handles and belly, Skinny fat person. 4 Weeks ago I found that I had lost my strength after retiring 6 years ago, I am 69 now. I started with the 1oo push ups challenge and ordered some weights and started intermittent fasting from 19:00 to 11:30 every day. No diet changes except more protein, lost 5kg (11lbs). This is just from exercise and I expect to get to 84kg (185lbs) in 6 to9 months. No easy steps at all.

    THX Dr. Jon. nicely delivered succinct vital info for all people. I'm 72 yo, male, retired, and a sufferer of Chronic pains and stiffness of Spinal Spondyliosis , facet Arthritis, disc bulges, and DDD throughout the spine. I would love to incorporate more walking into my regimen, but with the stenosis I have in my Lumbar spine (L2, L3 L5-S1), which causes calf cramping, walking for any length beyond 3 or 4 blocks is just not possibe. I have found that an Elliptical machine I have at home is more tolerant even with OA in both knees (right knee is Bone on Bone). I will ry the implement the Keto Intermittent Fasting approach to start burning my excess Fat.

    Happy New Year. New subscriber here. If we're eating more calories earlier in the day, it would make sense to stop eating around 4 o'clock in the afternoon and eat a nice big breakfast around 8 o'clock next day and so on. Sincerely Tine

    About the deck of cards reference, is that the same for eggs? So about 2-3 hard boiled eggs or scrambled eggs the size of cards? Or what about Greek yogurt parfait? How do I know how much yogurt? Or avocado or PB toast? Or eating out?

    Yes, they are about the same - always choose less if you are unsure as we generally consume too many calories given our lifestyles (chained behind computers :))

    I found JJ Virgin. She helps menopausal ladies like us. I’ve actually lost weight. Basically eat high protein, lift weights, no cardio, sleep well. Good luck!

    Epsom Salts. At least as a quick fix for waterweight. Within 3 hours, you'll lose any bloat. Anything you see after that is actual fat 😂 I should add - you must drink this on an empty stomach! Like hours empty - like at least 12 hours after any food. That will give you best results. No...not a long term cure, but great for an event you have and want to lose bloat/water rapidly!

    Honestly anyone who can commit to eating within an 8 hour window….you won’t even need to exercise. Intermittent fasting works. Just hard for my schedule because I work in a restaurant so I come home hungry
