I'm gonna say this, I don't think Nashville could ever find any better female country Artist. That lil ol Kentucky girl evolved in to a Female Country Artist and Entertainer and I mean a fine Lady, and I also Believe that she is true to her profession right on down the line..She is as country as a hill of Beans..and has the talent to pick, write, play and has a way of singing a song to one, two or thousands of people, she can deliver that song that touches their heart and soul in ways they won't ever forget..I think Patty Lovelace is True Country Talent..and Nashville is lucky to have her..

They are capable of writing monster hits. The kind of songs that grab you by the heart. It's been Done all through country music history. Doesn't have to stop now. Her voice unaltered is perfect. This song hits different when you get divorced and your ex sends you THIS link. Communicating is hard. I heard a sermon that struck a chord. You go to a restaurant and give your precise order to a stranger, but you can't tell your partner what you want and get angry they can't read your mind. THAT was me. My ex wasn't a mind reader. 20+ years later, I realize I should have fought harder. 💔

Communication Breakdown Happens so often. Taking one another for granted and loosing sight not only of ourselves but each other. Routines of avoiding one another set in just to have peace of mind and no fusses. At what point do you make changes to give you're all to the very one you had reasons of being apart of their life and partner, whom you felt so much for? Brutal Honesty hurts but burying the problems and loosing those friendships/partnerships/spouse/families is such a deeper pain. Hard to believe she’s singing live isn’t it ? What a voice this woman has . I absolutely loved the duets with Vince Gill and George’s funeral . She carried Vince through the song because he was to tore up and hurt to sing . God bless ‘em both. If any hasn’t seen that heartbreaking video , it’s Patty and Vince singing Go rest high on the mountain at George Jones’s funeral. Poor Vince Gill couldn’t get through some of the song and Patty walks over to him , tries to comfort him and takes over lead vocals until Vince pulls hisself together enough to finish the song . It’s really sad .

Her voice is so powerful. Reminds me old time country like Patsy Cline. Clean, rich and beautiful.

This LADY is what country music truly is and sounds like ! What a beautiful lady and true country music artist. Just look at the tribute she and Vince Gill did in tribute to George Jones. I miss real country music. She has an amazing voice that always delivers in every song. At least we have the good old days before country became pop.

She is a #1 country singer, I just love this woman, my wife who died 5 yrs ago, always said that she was one of her favorite female country singers, she just never ever really got the recognition that she deserved as a lot of these women did back in the day. It was always Dolly, Tammy, and the others., they already had their fame and fortune, but, this woman was a singer and a beauty through and through.

@@richardlusk1715, Mountain Soul was indeed an awesome album. But there is an album that managed to top it; Mountain Soul II. If you haven't heard it yet, I recommend putting it at the top of your "To Do" list. No one belts out the songs as powerfully as Patty Loveless.

One of the absolute greats of real country music! Patty's voice just has an authentic quality, and damn she's easy on the eyes!!

This came out the same year my marriage fell apart. It was so right on the mark I could barely listen to it.... this is the first time I’ve heard it in years. She is so amazing.😭😭💜💜

Same story here , this song was practically playing as I left for a couple months. moved back because Our son was just 10 months old and I had to come back “for him”. 25 years later I hear this song and I’m crying like a baby

Such a pure, interpretation of struggle of emotion, so clear and strong. She is an American classic of song and particularly of the Appalachian country experience.

Where has she been? Her performance at the funeral of the Great, Late George Jones was phenomenal.. Her voice is still as good as ever

I’ve been familiar with this song for decades but never appreciated this woman’s amazing amazing voice....or the magnitude of the song. Wow. Just wow.

She is a Gift from God Almighty Himself ✔

My Uncle is first cousins with Patty's Husband Emory Gordy, and at his and Emorys Grandfather's funeral she sang. She was our neighbor in Dallas Ga lived about 4 houses down and in a 2 bed room 1 bath 900 sq ft house with Emory most of the time. Emory taught Karate at the local studio one day a week to kids. This was all in the 90's When she was a Mega Star and He was one of the most important men in Nashville! She also was the Grand Marshall of our local Christmas Parade at the time. I have never met a more Humbel couple in all of my life! Great people! They still live in Dallas Ga. But built a bigger house on a larger piece of property. I think people found out where they lived. Every one around Mt Olivet Rd at the time tried to be good neighbors and didn't talk about them living close by and didn't treat them any differently. I think they liked that because they lived there for years.

Still listening to this in 2020 what a classic song & beautiful pure voice she has 💜🎶 They don’t make country music like this anymore.

God blessed this woman with an incredible voice. I love her voice and her story telling songs. You'll Never Leave Harlen is one of my favorites. The crap they call country nowadays is a joke

Bohemian Goddess I understand. My third Marriage and it’s Just As Toxic As the first two but it’s been 21 years this December..But my Pain Will End as soon as I tighten a few things up. I need to make Peace with Anyone I’ve Hurt And Let My Children who Are Grown with Families of there Own know I Love Them and Sorry for the Pain I Caused Them Or Any Mistakes I Made. Times Up...
