I find it cosmic that when I asked for Travis Tritt gospel, this was what loaded. What better example of people truly sharing their gifts from God?! This is what Country is all about. This went straight to my soul. Deepest thanks to all the artists & to youtube for the opportunity to share with family. ♡

The timing of the vocals in the chorus of Little Georgia Rose was next level. Those guys were standing in each other's pockets!!! And Travis Tritt on the hot 5!! Get outta here!! But Patty Loveless!!💖 And that key-change in Uncle Pen, with the fiddles playing harmony without missing a beat. Professionals at work--don't try this at home.

Imagine a hearty congrats, out of the blue, onstage from a widely smiling, normally stone-faced Earl Scruggs on his banjo playing! Just stunning! Nothing better old time southern mountain music. I thank God for my dad dragging me to all those Bluegrass and Country music festival's.Whipperwil lake,Watermelon park and Galax old time fiddlers convention. I saw all of the great artist to many to name. My great uncle's the five of them had their own bluegrass band. They traveled all over the D.C. area playing they were the house band at Rockwood Hall in Warrenton Va. One night on their way home they got to drunk to drive. So they decided to drive up the railroad tracks in The Plains Va. They sat there playing a county cop came up and they thought they were going to get lock up. But the cop sat there and listen to them for about an hour. All he had to say is they had to leave before the 6 o'clock train came thru. Boy it was so much different back then. I still listen to Gospel Bluegrass every Sunday morning like my Dad did. Once it gets in your blood you just can't get it out.

I believe bluegrass has changed from the days when Bill Monroe said every picker was in competition, even when they were friends. They seem now just to admire each other and enjoy each other's playing.
