Simple, delicious. A nice reminder that we don't always need three days and a pantry full of ingredients to have a culinary experience.

Love your show on PBS & am so happy you're also on YT❤. I have questions for you. 1. Can you buy the peppers from the Yucatan or Jalisco here in the US. (I didn't know they each had different chilies). 2. What other things do you use the comal for, or is it mainly for toasting or charring. It looks like it is cast iron so is it heavy? Can you get it in the US (I need to check Amazon). 3. I have a molcajete but am not sure how I should be cleaning it between uses, especially when 1 time is for dry ingredients & the next time for wet like your guacamole recipe in this YT. Thank you very much.

Thanks so much! Here some answers :) 1. Yes, you can find dried and fresh chiles in the US, your best bet would be your closest Latin or Hispanic Market 2. I use my comal to char, roast, warm up tortillas, sometimes even for light frying quesadillas! I have cast iron, aluminum and non stick, it depends on what I am using it for 3. I wrote this on Molcajetes, hope it is useful patijinich.com/molcajete/
