You did pick a heavy one for your introduction to Chris, as this was absolutely intended to bring awareness to mental health issues. Thanks for your genuine reaction, I cry every time I see it. If you liked his voice and you want more, try, "Tennessee Whiskey," live at Austin City Limits, where he sings with his wife. Also a really upbeat song is, "Arkansas." If you like guitar and want to hear more of his vocal range, try, "I Was Wrong," live at Austin City Limits. Always do live over studio (with the exception of this video) - he's that rare artist that sounds better unfiltered. Why mess with perfection? Lol. "Cold," "Sometimes I Cry," "Death Row," ... go down the rabbit hole, he's so worth it!

Not all Chris's songs are this heavy. Please give him another try with "Tennessee Whiskey", which he sings with his wife. "I was Wrong" with the most incredible vocals. I believe in "Fire Away" it was Chris bringing awareness to mental illness. Don't give up on him. I cry like a baby every time I hear this one.

This is a message to create awareness for mental health. To me it shows her struggling with a bipolar depression and you see her go from good times (highs) to self harm (lows). We need this out in the world as painful as it is. Loved your reaction ❤️

i love this song it hits so hard because i have struggled with take my own life my whole life and i still do i was 5 years old when i first tried and im 26 now i never thought i would make it to this age but this topic is one of the biggest things i hold to my heart because i can relate to it way better then most people

in the early 80's we had a singer, Bob Seger, who sang almost EXACTLY like Chris. He didn't have the song repertoire but the voice's are identical!!!

Chris doesn't make music videos. He was pushed from his label to make a video for this song. So he chose a topic he thought needed attention. The woman in the video was depressed and her husband did everything he could to help her but it wasn't enough. Very powerful message. Loved your reaction.

Some of his more romantic songs, WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO?, JOY OF MY LIFE, STARTING OVER, I WAS WRONG... You started with one of the most intense ones but the video was done for a good cause...to raise awareness regarding mental illness. I'm glad it touched you and it was such a genuine reaction.

Depression is so real, if you notice a loved one or friend with mood swings, happening frequently and without seemingly a cause for them. Make sure they get the RIGHT help.Too many try to self diagnosed and medicate and this is the result you end up with I lost my cousin to bipolar depression for this very reason.
