I love Kid Rock and agree. Was it Morgan Freeman that was asked how to stop racism and he said "To stop talking about it." In other words, it's only "a thing" because certain people WANT it to be important and keep perpetuating the narrative. I watched a reaction - not yours - but some younger people reacting to the "We Are The World" video and the two young reactors were actually SURPRISED that "back in the old days...look at the black and white people getting along and singing together". 🤔🙄 I was watching and listening to them like... WHAAAAAT did they just say????? 😳 I was dumbfounded that the younger kids (maybe late teens) actually have grown up thinking racism among black and white folks is THE NORM. This is very sad to me. When "We are the World" came out in the 80s I was a young teenager and I never considered We all DIDN'T get along. We did. At least in my Midwestern city and amongst my Gen-X generation it just wasn't a huge thing. Honestly, once Obama got elected it seems like racism got ramped back up. That combined with the social media phenomenon. Now....I'm not trying to say anything here but if anyone really thinks about it, even in the early 2000s, racism wasn't any huge thing like it has been in recent years. Ok, now that I've said enough on that topic - and tying in with the young kids I mentioned above - I agree that FB, Twitter, even KZread (Google), CNN, etc has indoctrinated so many youth with false information (like Hitler who took control over Germany's media), Kid Rock is saying WE THE PEOPLE need to take back that control. It is the American way to think and speak for one's self but in order to do that, we need to educate ourselves and our kids. and I'd say, that education needs to start in the home - and NOT with mainstream or social media.
