A very powerful song. My wife suffered from severe depression with suicidal ideation. The first ten years of our life together was hell. But, we struggled, we fought, and finally found a good doctor that could help her. Thirty six years later and she's still doing fine. Never give up, never stop fighting, and never let go. Life can get better.

The lyrics basically say bring it on!! Anything you got, I can take it. Don't take it out on yourself, take it out on me. Very sad song. Praying for anyone who may be going through this type of situation.

Mental illness is a terrible disease, both for the sufferers and their families. I was in a long relationship with someone with major depression. Don't worry, I'm crying for both of us.

Don't apologize for not saying anything. Sometimes, with something as powerful as this, less is more, because we all know the feeling and appreciate that you're taking it in without feeling the need to "perform" to an audience.

This is the only song Chris has made an official video for because he felt the subject was so important. I hope you will listen again for the lyrics. Your response was just right. Mental illness is a horrible thing and I worry about the effects of this quarantine on people who shouldn't be alone. God bless you and every one who is hurting.

Thanks for putting a name to the actor. I don’t watch much tv or go to the movies so I had no idea who that was but he and that young lady made this a real life-believable situation. Just like K. Simone, I was so caught up in emotion watching the video I had to replay it to catch all the lyrics. Awesome video Awesome song A Powerful, Gut wrenching message.

I have bi polar. Every day I have to search for a new reason to live. It is not easy. Lately there have been less, and less reasons. I had surgery on my brain and its hard to remember things right now. But the worst part is everyone treating me like I'm a moron because I am having trouble. Hell we devoloped a leak in the roof. Instead of listening to me and getting a bundle of shingles ( I cannot drive 4 a while) she called a roofer. Im not so far gone i can't repair my own household issues. The only thing that helps me is music. Especially the song my dark place alone by Murderdolls. Kinda explains BP.

Think about that man. He's an officer. Thats one of the hardest jobs in the world. Think about how he may act after such a tragic moment in his life.. Yeah he may be short tempered, he may be a dick. What are you going to do, take the job away from a man who just lost his wife, child, bestfriend etc?? No. Have some empathy for the police. They see and have to do things (grab a dead child out of a wrecked car due to speeding) that you'll likely never have to do. So if he yells at you for going 15 over the limit, keep in mind what he may have been involved in just hours ago.
