I can say, there is no amount of love, no amount of patience and tolerance, no amount of understanding, forgiveness, and drive to help some people…. Obviously, they’re in so much pain, it takes a really really strong person to hang in there with someone that is dealing with what she was dealing with and, no matter how strong you are sometimes it is impossible to help. And that’s it hard by itself…..

Depression and mental illness is so real and it takes a strong person to deal with that. Kudos to him

My physical and mental health problems began arising around twenty years into my marriage and over the next decade multiplied. My ex was a good person but her way of coping was to play Ostridge and bury her head in the sand giving me no support. We separated thirty years in and divorced three years later with thirty three years under our belt. We are still friends today but live over 1,000 miles apart. The video makes me cry every time I watch it.

Sometimes those of us fighting the hardest battles are against demons that no one else can see. Hang in there Tammy. One day at a time.

Hope you guys get a chance to listen to some songs where Chris' wife Morgane sings with him because she is a beautiful singer in her own right. The video of the two of them singing Amanda at the Grand Ol' Opry is short but gives Morgane a chance to show off her voice a little. I also love the video of the two of them singing More of You on PBS' Tiny Desk series. Just a boy, a girl, a guitar and a beautiful song. Just seeing the way Morgane still looks at Chris after five kids and 20 years together is truly touching.

Great reaction as always. This isn't my favorite Chris song, but it is a good one. "Millionaire" and the cover of "Amanda" that he and Morgane did. You can really hear her voice in that one.

@ThisandThatJC great reaction! Chris wrote this song to bring awareness to Mental Illness. I think he succeeded… I suggest you watch his live performance of this song i think it was on the CMA’s one year but I’m not sure. It is amazing and his wife Morgane sings harmonies in it. Thanks friends!

Love Chris. I heard rhe only way Chris would make a video to this song was if it would shine a light on mental illness
