In my case, I used to have a very abusive wife. It took me 15 years of it to finally walk away from it. Nine years later I still deal with the PTSD and depression it caused. My wife who I literally stumbled upon is my rock. She knew all of the issues I deal with and I can honestly say if it wasn't for her, there would not be a me.

That is so awesome to hear that you were able to reach out to someone and get the help you needed. That is what songs do for us a lot of the times, is make us feel our feelings, instead of letting them bottle up inside with nowhere to go. Without music and without God, I don't believe I would have made it through everything I faced over the years and everything I'm currently facing now. God Bless you and many prayers and love being sent your way.

Gitana you've said country music tells a story and that's why you love it. Growing up in the mid west every song hits home in a certain way. But thats what's amazing about country music. Born country, raised country, in the city or across the pond. Everyone can relate in one way or another!

On December 26th 2012 I could no longer fight the darkness that tortured my brain. That evening I wrote a note and pinned it to my top. I then swallowed over 20 ambien and guzzled a bottle of wine. I was determined not to fail this time. The next thing I remember was waking up strapped to a hospital bed. It took me a minute to realize what was going on and when I did I just couldn't believe it. I thought I was such a piece of crap that I couldn't even manage taking my own life no matter how hard I tried. I suffer from chronic double depression, bi-polar disorder and PTSD. I'm now married to a wonderful man who totally gets it. I'm finally on the correct meds and my life is completely beautiful but I don't dare go off those meds. The majority of the world is still so ignorant about mental health. Why people can't understand that the same way your body can be sick so can your mind, is baffling to me. And trust me no one wants this, asked for it or deserves it. And if you're suffering please find someone that can help you cause you truly can't fight severe mental illness alone. I now thank God that, that night He said, nope not your time. Thank you for the wonderful reaction. You're a precious soul, married to a precious soul and I'm so glad I found you today. You've got a new family member now, just subbed. Much love and many blessings to you ❤

Chris doesn’t do music videos, so when they wanted him to do one, he said he wanted to take control in it and have it be depicted through his ideas. What came of it was a lady who was bipolar and manic, the guy wanted to help her all he could, unfortunately, losing the battle

I was married to a woman that suffered from bipolar, I lost count of how many times she tried to take her life. It is a horrible thing to see someone you love going through and is very hard to deal with when you can’t really do anything other than just be there for them. Thank you for playing this.

I am calloused over a little in that area of feels, as a police officer I had to "handle" cases of sids deaths, suicides, and deaths in general. It happened very close to me in the person of a good friends son, I had watched him grow up for many years. I caught his mother in the emergency room as she collapsed when they matter of factly, while they were trying to save him asked her if she had chosen a mortuary yet. I am empathetic and staying by them and their family through the funeral was gut wrenching. I did shed a tear at this song and the visuals.

This video seems to be a replay of the last 20 years and my marriage to my wife that I love with all my heart she has PTSD anxiety disorder depression disorder and bipolar things in the video ring so true in the song we love them so much and we do everything we can to reassure them sometimes they just can't seem to hear it my wife didn't commit suicide even though that used to be one of my biggest concerns of coming home to finding her dead we put her on a plane to go help her sick mother for 2 weeks me and the four kids have not seen her since that was almost three years ago and a forced default devorece she filed in another state and I was still taking care of our children on my own it's like she died

Darling I have served in combat, seen things, done things. That at the time we would just shake off, I also served as a Cop. You couldn't let those feelings interfere with decisions you had to make. Now I'm retired and I have no way to repress those nightmares, so trust me I have some damn sure circumstances. Sometimes we all hit a low spot in life and in a way unknowingly we reach out to others or a certain someone for a little bit of help to get through or make it through a tough time. Mental health issues are real and more people should wake up to realize it's a real thing. God bless y'all Gitana, I enjoy the videos and reactions with honesty! Much love from Alabama

That’s country, sometimes your end smiling from ear to ear and sometimes it rips your heart out..But it’s life and after seeing 63s of it. Life is messy and everyone you meet have scars from it. I have tracks for driving and tracks for loosing. Just a suggestion try a little more George Strait, he’s lived blessed life that’s full of curses that ha left him just as scarred as anyone you’ll ever met. I was behind the chutes the night the unknown kid from the Austin area drove down to cover when Dolly Pardon canceled the Houston Rodeo, and it was like you put him on a Rocket ship straight up. From that time on he owned Opening night at Houston. Just for your own enjoyment listen to Amarillo by morning,,,that was his first hit,,,then listening Troubadour again and remember playing Houston Rodeo is where a lot of the photos are from,,,oh and Rodeo is “that ring thing” word you were trying to remember. Thank you mam, Watching your reaction takes an old man back to younger years and makes me appreciate some of my old favorites and
