    1. Black raspberry ice cream/chocolate ice cream twisted softserve (a place I went to as a kid still serves it 50 years later; for store-bought Graeter’s is insanely good, almost TOO good, plus $20 for half gallon, Kroger brand $6 and is really good too) 2. Boston cream pie (a cake of course; Joe’s Stone Crab has a great one, but you really can’t ever have a bad Boston cream, in donut form too) 3. Strawberry-rhubarb pie and blueberry pie (I’m not choosing.) 4. Chocolate cheesecake 5. Tres leches or tiramisu (I’m not narrowing this down either.)

There’s a dessert over here in the UK called Summer Pudding. It’s made with slices of bread which line a pudding bowl then you fill it with summer berries and top it with more bread, stick it in the fridge so it sets then when you’re ready to serve, turn the bowl upside down onto a serving plate and you get this dome of yummyness. Best served with a dollop of clotted cream 😋 flipping delicious!! Apple crumble and custard Lemon meringue pie Cheesecake Ben and Jerry’s ice cream Jeez I’m starving!

I can't really argue with any of your choices . That Middle Eastern dessert sounded great , as did Joe's multi layer cake . Years ago I had a Middle Eastern dessert called Om Ali , that was like bread pudding soaked in sweet milk with raisins and nuts . I could've eaten that out of a pail using one of those plastic beach shovels . Anyway , here's my favourites : Baklava. ( pastry soaked in honey with pistachios and other stuff ) Sherry Trifle Oatmeal Raisin & Apricot cookies The Great Wall of Chocolate. ( a seven layer , dense , dark chocolate cake ) ( they served it with the business card of the local dentist ) A tie : My mother's mince meat tarts , and her Rum nutmeg pudding ( served at Christmas ) . Cheers !!!!

OK, I have to produce the Australian dessert list: 1. Lamingtons. They are a chocolate sponge cake. Don't buy at the supermarket. Go to a bakery; it's worth the extra cost. 2. Spider. This is what Americans would call an ice cream float. Called a spider because the soda and ice cream etc makes a spidery shape. Used to be popular in Oz in the 1950s. But these days most places would respond "Spider? Bug spray!" 3. Sunny Boy. Discontinued Aussie flavoured ice block that was massive in the 90s. Had so much sugar in it that it will never be brought back because of health guidelines. Bring back the sunny boy! 4. Tim Tams. Chocolate wafered biscuit. Mmmmmm. 5. Vegemite and cheese scroll. Served hot in winter. Rest of the world says "disgusting". Kangaroo land says "delicious." The way the Vegemite and cheese melt together is oh mmm. Honorable mentions: Wizz Fizz [sherbert packet that looked illegal], Polywaffle [discontinued ice cream confectionary although it might be making a comeback.] , caramello Koala, fudge choc shaped like a koala.

I'm gluten free and dairy free, so desserts are a bit of a challenge! Currently I'm making mango coconut yogurt interesting by covering it with vegan cream and it's not bad. Back in the day, used to love homemade lemon meringue pie.

Fried ice cream from ChiChi's really brought back good memories of that dish and restaurant. Loved the chimichanga topped with the hot green chile sauce. But I digress. My top five: 1. Key Lime Pie 2. Banana Pudding (Magnolia Bakery in NYC makes the best) 3. Plain cheesecake, preferably from Junior's in Brooklyn 4. Red Velvet Cake 5. Lemon Meringue Pie

    1. Cookie Cake 2. Ice-cream Cake 3. Yellow Cake with chocolate or vanilla frosting 4. Little Debbie's (mostly Zebra Cakes or Oatmeal Creme Pies but so many good options) 5. Tate's Gluten Free Chocolate Chip cookies (my favorite GF dessert I've tried) for Joe

Yellow cake with chocolate icing 4. Tiramisu 5. Dutch apple pie 6. Any type of pastry 7. Tres leches 8. Vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. I love a good bakery and a mom and pop donut shop 😋

Huge dessert fan. Not eating as much these days, but when I do enjoy the hell out of it. Hard to narrow to a top 5, but here's a stab at it: 5. Blueberry pie w/ vanilla ice cream 4. Mocha frapuccino cheese cake (my own creation) 3. Fudge brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle 2. Coconut cream pie 1. Ice cream. Just about any flavor, but if I'm going to choose I go with a scoop of dark chocolate and a scoop of espresso, sprinkled with nuts and covered with whip cream And for the record, since this is cake week my favorite cake is rum cake, but it doesn't crack the dessert top 5

Cinnamon buns (or really any cinnamon related dessert) is my favourite. I am so so on regular cake so I get Cinnabon for my birthday every year now instead. I do like ice cream cake and cheesecake a lot. Pecan pie and pumpkin pie are my favourites but that banoffie (sp?) pie sounds amazing.

Trying to cut down on my sugar due to type 2 diabetes, but I do still eat desserts on occasion. Crumble > Pie (but I'm British so, I guess that's probably why) I love jelly (gelatine dessert) but due to the sugar content I'll have to stick with sugar free. I love custard. So, as you can probably guess, I adore Trifle! (Cake base, topped with jelly, then topped with custard). I really love sorbet too.

Blue Bell ice cream is very popular here in Texas. They had a terrible scandal a few years ago. There was a listeria outbreak and they had to recall all their ice cream. I think they've pretty well recovered since then. Pistachio almond is probably my favorite Blue Bell. I also love Ben & Jerrys.

You guys should do Humble Pie week and then rank your favorite Pies later? Or even like Hot Tuna or Leftover Salmon week and then do your favorite Fish/Seafood later? lol Top 5 Desserts? 1. Melting Hot Chocolate Soufflet from Roy's. It's this Hot Lava Cake with Raspberry Sauce. Unsure if any Roy's exist anymore and it doesn't really agree with me nor would it be do-able with my Diabetes now, but man, it was the best thing ever when I used to get it. It took 20 minutes to make. 2. Apple Pie Pizza from Sydney's. Much like the Chocolate Soufflet from Roy's, this was a prize winning piece of sweet and savory. Take Pasty crust and bake fresh apple slices in them, and then top it with the best Caramel Sauce you'll ever have (and Vanilla Ice Cream, which I passed on per I'm lactose intolerant), and it was a showstopping final course meal at Sydneys. And like Roy's, sadly, I don't believe Sydney's exist anymore. 3. Trollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookies at Minnesota Renaissance Festival. In Minnesota, everyone and their mother worships the SWEET MARTHA chocolate chip cookies at the Minnesota State Fair. But I am on record at saying how super OVERRATED they are, and these Chocolate Chip cookies sold at a Cupcake Booth at the South Entrance at Renaissnce Festival absolutely destroy Sweet Martha's and are the best, freshly baked/homemade tasting Chocolate Chip Cookies you'll ever have. 4. Carmel Apple Pie from the Minnesota's Largest Candy Store in Jordan, MN (in Minnesota?..or maybe the country). The pies are baked fresh there amongst the 5 million other food items they sell (a lot of retro candy and kids/toys/pop culture based, + other kinds of baked goods and cooking/baking ingredients and snack foods. Tons of the flavored sodas as well, etc). And while you can buy their pies unbaked and put it in your oven (take+and-bake), the real treat comes when you have the freshly baked pies. On a Fall evening after (or before? lol) dinner, oh man, it totally hits the spot. 5. Cheesecake. I wouldn't totally be able to pick 1 restaurant or store version, although there's a place named Cafe Latte in St.Paul I've gone to well over 30 years, and they make some amazing Cheeecakes. Sometimes vanilla with raspberry sauce, others that are chocolate with caramel. Some vanilla with Strawberries, or even Strawberry Cheesecake itself. #6..this 1 maybe is only a semi-dessert and for nostalgia, but I used to love freshly made Hot Chocolate at this place called "The White Hat." They would serve it in a white mug with whip cream of course, but also like a Malt, they gave you this large Metal Tin with an additional 2 or more cups. It was a go-to when my family would have dinner there on a fall or Winter Evening. #7 Gulab Jamun at most East Indian restaurants. Super rich. They are these fried milk balls served in a really thick/rich syrup, that for some reason creates a chemical reaction in my brain, like Doritos (or back in the day, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, athough now I can barely stomach those) or something that when I eat 1, I immediately want 3 or 4. I know though I play with fire when eating Gulab Jamuns per it's a Fried Milk Ball and I'm lactose intolerant so, go figure.

    1. Hummingbird Cake 2. Strawberry rhubarb pie 3. Bread pudding 4. Carmel fudge brownie 5. Cheesecake Hms: good ole chocolate chip cookie and a nutty buddy. Yeah I don’t know if I actually like pie better than cake or not ,I like the icing on the cake, it’s so sweet and I could eat it straight up, I remember my father and I used to buy ginger cookies and Betty Crocker icing man was it good but also we used to do that every night so it was pretty insane. But back to the cake vs pie thing sometime I do prefer pie for sure because I think I actually like the actual pie better than the actual cake(except hummingbird cake seriously try it), I just end up scraping off all the icing and saving it for last. Maybe instead of cake I could just have icing on pie👍🤯😅 Yeah our family is crazy for deserts here and my dad makes desert from time to time and is also quite good at it. Plus my whole dads side of the family are all great bakers and cooks so we are a little spoiled and snobby even.

Mmmm, like Jason, I’m also a big sweet-tooth! I love a good Reese’s cup myself. Chocolate and peanut butter together is my *weakness!* You put it in anything: cakes, ice cream, pie, cookies and other sweets, and you won’t be able to hold me back! Even now, I regularly by a lot of Reese’s within reason. 😋😁
