What delightful people those cake shop workers are. So kind and animated.

I went to London for a couple of concerts and figured I had to go and try their cake while I was actually in London. I had the peanut butter, chocolate and banana one and it was super tasty. I did however noticed that someone has beaten your record! Someone named James ate 21 slices on July 23rd, 2023.

Both of the workers were so much fun to watch but the lady took the cake! *badum tish*

For the first 14 minutes, this is the most slow and relaxed I’ve ever seen Mr. Beard eat! He’s just chillin til that 8th slice! What a pro-as usual, once he picks up the pace, he still manages to smash the record with 1/3 of his time left and proceeds to set a deadly new one

4:08 actually thats true! Up util like 1900's before artificial dyes were used, beetroots (basic) and cocoa powder (acidic) were used to create a light and fluffy cake through a chemical reaction! But when the dyes took over, people stopped doing that. It doesnt taste bad at all. The earthiness of the beetroot is sudble but plays well with the cocoa

I SO wish I lived anywhere near this shop! The cakes look incredibly delicious, and the owners are super pleasant people. I don't how this won't gain them more customers than they can handle!

I love how sweet and cheerful the bakery clerks are, I wish I could go there.

I don't know why this is satisfying to watch you eat lol..I think it's the humor along with it an just your ability to do them. Cake, sweets definitely be harder I reckon then other foods.

Just found your channel today, and as someone struggling with an eating disorder, watching your videos has helped me get and keep down a full meal for the first time in a month. Dunno how that works, but super-grateful to have found your channel anyways! Keep up the awesome work, man.

I ate 6 doughnuts once and it absolutely shut me down, woke up the next day in a malaise, groggy and suuuper tired like my eyes were being forced shut. I saw in the mirror my eyelids were puffy like 3 times the size! My body does not handle sugar / carb combos well, I'd MUCH rather do a spicy challenge!

Apparently theirs one going around called the 666, I don't know where it is. Definitely designed to be eaten by beard.

I prefer the more raw/self shot content but who can complain at the end of the day? This dude is the only "competitive eater" content I watch. I'll take what I can get. It's more about the adventure (with him traveling and trying local foods), and his personality that I enjoy. If it's produced better it might not be the same vibe, but at least it's enjoyable at the end of the day.

I feel the same way, fast shot transitions were a bit too annoying for me, it was more pleasant to watch when it was simple

i struggle with a binge eating disorder and somehow, watching your channel helps me feel a lot better about it. seeing you down things in so little time weirdly encourages me to really take my time when i'm eating a lot of food? it's strange but it'll definitely help with harm reduction lol. keep doing what you do man

Its funny, I watch his channel because it relaxes me. I have stage 4 cancer and have lot my sense of tase and smell due to treatment but his voice and character is so soothing. All the best!

I could eat a ton of burgers, hot dogs and pizza slices but you proved your skills here. I'm not sure there are many people on the planet who could eat that much cake.

I think that this is the first time I have ever seen Adam use cutlery the whole time AND appear to be actually chewing most of the food, savouring it so to speak. I absolutely love cake but after 2 of those slices I would definitely be in trouble. Phenomenal effort Mr Beard!
