I make my chocolate pie different. I get 2 big boxes of chocolate pudding, cook and serve, and 6 cups of milk, whole, in the pan on the stove, wisk until it start's bubbling. I get an oreo crust, pour the mixture in the pie crust, to the top. Put it in the refrigerator, until the next day. Then just before I go to a party, I put cool whip on it, shake chocolate sprinkles on it, come's out beautifully!!!! Everyone loves it.......🥀🥀🥀🥀.....

Instead of pudding use fruit yogurt & add more of the same fruit (peaches & yogurt then add diced peaches) mix pour in pie shell & freeze. Refreshing & healthy

Hey Ashley. This is Cathy. According to the instructions to the instructions to the Jello chocolate pudding pie. The Jello chocolate pudding pie needs to sit in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before eating.

I would refrigerate the pie for at least 5 hours before serving. I usually make mine the night before and let it refrigerate overnight.

I once made a pumpkin pie in a similar way. And it was good I lost the recipe. I got it from the cooking lite magazine. When I use to subcripe to there magazine.

This is terrific BUT Philadelphia cream cheese makes already made cheesecake filling, I get it from Walmart

Actually I have done this without pie crust used sugar free pudding etc for Hubby who is dietetic. Low calorie low sugar.

I made 2 versions 1 the chocolate and 2 banana cream with sliced up banana around the edge used dream whip though it takes longer

Banana pie is also delicious just like chocolate pie.

Hi! No, this package calls for 2 cups of milk. This is the 3.9 oz. package. The 5.9 oz. package is the one that calls for 3 cups of milk. That would be too much pudding for the pie crust though. Thanks for watching!

I use the cook and serve Jell-o chocolate pudding for the pie filling. I already baked my crust, and filled in the pudding after I let it cool down after boiling, do I add cool whip to it before refrigerating it, even though I did it? If so, even though I'm already doing it, how long do I refrigerate my pudding pie for?

Yes, add the Cool Whip before refrigerating. I would refrigerate the pie for about 6 hours or overnight. I usually make my pie in the evening and refrigerate overnight. The longer you refrigerate it for the better the pie sets up.

No, unfortunately it is not low calorie. It is a great treat to have every once in awhile though.

Prefer real pudding that is cooked on stove to instant you can tell the difference in taste

I have to ask , will the filling set-up or do you eat this with a spoon ........ i always use the cooked-type Jello pudding which sets-up and can be sliced and served . Also , what is America's fascination with CoolWhip ...... it's WHIPPED vegetable oil . Whipped cream is so much better and far more healthier !!!

It will set up in the refrigerator. The longer the better. I usually make it in the evening and let it set up overnight. Cool Whip is very popular here. I only make this pie 1-2 times a year during the holiday season. Thanks for watching!
