Didn't Fleetwood Mac use the penguin from their Penguin album as a mascot for a while? Kinda makes me wish they would have waited until the Mystery To Me album came out. 😏

Misfits' Crimson Ghost is for sure one. He appears on covers as well as a lot of their merch. Definitely an image I associate closely with that band.

Devo had a few characters in their lore. Booji Boy probably being the closest to a mascot of them, being that Mark came out as him on stage.

A relatively lesser known one that I find epic, is power metal band HammerFall's mascot Hector.

I always liked "the Guy" on the cover of several Disturbed albums.

The mascot of the Quebec City Carnaval is a big snowman called "Bonhomme", and Men Without Hats carted him out for several of their videos (he's credited as a band member in the lyrics to "Pop Goes the World").

The 2nd wave of ska, the UK stuff from the late 70s, The Beat, The Special, Madness, the Two-Tone label.... they were big on graphic design stuff. Checkerboard designs in black, white and red. The Beat had the dancing girl, but who had the "Ska guy"? The black & white figure of the dancing guy in the suit, hat and shades? Was it The Specials or their label? In the early 80s you couldn't go to a party without seeing someone wearing a badge or a pin of that guy.

Operation Ivy had a pretty signature looking "guy" that i definitely associate with them but probably doesnt count if you only have one album and even that is just a compilation

The " Echo " in Echo & The Bunnymen is the rhythm machine the band used in lieu of a drummer on certain tracks or in coordination with a drummer & is a borderline mascot.

Snaggletooth might be the best band mascot ever! Sad tho that Motörhead are so one note for the most part. Lou Dog is considered the mascot for Sublime, but Nowell basically treated that dog so badly, so I won’t count that. 😂
