I am truly aware of how toxic families can be. my life was in danger, and I was negatively labled in religion, and by community, I left home at 18 , I have been happier on my own.

I am going to say this if your parents have not been in your life for years you don't let them in because they are coming with baggage..All they wanted was your money to live the good life.
