Afterward: It didn’t take longs for the hitmen to come for Julia, their efforts to end her life only being narrowly avoided through good luck every time. Even her house was no longer safe as she had found evidence of attempted break ins all over the place. Knowing she was in danger, she turned to the police who assigned bodyguards to her while they investigated the assassination attempts. Eventually, they were able to catch one of the men sent to kill her and he was forced to reveal that they were hired by Julia’s grandfather before he died, with the orders to kill her so that the inheritance had to go to someone else in the family being given given. The man further squealed, revealing the identities of the other hitmen, one of who turned out to be none other than Joe, who was arrested along with the rest. They were all given life sentences, finally ending Julia’s grandfather’s reign of terror.
