That is amazing to almost ruin a man's future for one day of the daughter getting married truth be told nobody cares if she got married most marriages don't last but family relationships are ruined for a lifetime! Most people step on the gas to rush through them but a yellow light is actually means stop or proceed with caution. You should evaluate the situation and if it’s worth trying to mend things step back into a relationship with them but keep a quick exit strategy open until your certain things will be different this time.

Stupid OP went WAY too far. The vicious and vindictive moves on her part made her no better than the parents. As far as the events in the story goes, there were far too many inconsistencies to enjoy it. For instance, since they supposedly gave the house to their son why would he need their permission to sell and why did they need to be present at the closing when he sold it? How did Vince's thugs know where to find Jake? Did the sister tell them? Also, if all they wanted was the money he owed Vince why didn't he just hand over the proceeds from the sale of the house? Sorry folks, but this story gets a 👎👎 from me.
