I remember the 70s, with my old man, the gyms would be full of cigar and cigarette smoke! Some guys even rode the stationery bike with a cigar, Crazy, lookin back now.

I love that the training and the equipment!! You are keeping the tradition of the old school fighters alive. And I also learned through you what a “dingle ball” is. When ppl ask me how I know, I always tell them that the PunchProfessor told me so ;)

The workout with the straight punches keeping the black heavy bag up,reminds me of Ricardo "El finito"Lopez training back in the day hitting the bag. He would put on an intense barrage of punches on the bag then rest for a moment and in return had excellent conditioning on fight night. Theres a couple of videos of him doing it out on youtube still

PP... It would be an honor to train at your gym. You have all the equipment I actually believe you need to get better at this amazing sport. More importantly you and Roberto use it in the correct way and don't pose around like I see so many people in other gyms. Equipment is designed to be used in the correct manner and to imitate as much as possible a fight situation. Hence, if you're not moving your feet in, out and round and you're not moving your head, (and of course, pumping your fists) then, you are not using the equipment properly and you won't improve any. It's called the sweet science because there is a science about the game and it needs to be mastered. It's a real joy to see Roberto using the double end bag like it's supposed to be used.

It's a Large Speed Bag on about a 12 inch chain or rope on a PLATFORM that you can walk/work around from all 360 degrees ! The Big Blue Speed Bag is sold by Title Boxing online for about 40 dollars * It's the platform that makes it a Dingle Ball Workout ... I hope that helps you ? Please let me know if you build one.... I trained in the same 5th street gym on Miami Beach when Muhammed Ali was there in the 1970s Ali insisted that there be no music in the gym while training ! I have not utilized Music in training since then till this very day. I may make a video explaining why Ali said that ? True Paul D'

How come every video I see is always training on combinations and stuff but not no weights or calisthenics body weight training thats whole part of training in combat sports not just techniques but working on conditioning is more important to work your gas tank up.
