Officer Tiedemann Won't Take His Eyes off Me in Mason City, Iowa

At 10 pm i saw officer Mark Tiedemann pull into the Fleet Farm
(641) 423-4474
maps.app.goo.gl/b9ZtfdhN7kgVc... parking lot, west side, on the Auto Care side. He attempted to drive to the rear of the store, but saw a large fence blocking all access to the rear of the store. So, he moves to the driveway, leading out of the parking lot and watches me from there.
I was pacing back and forth in front of my car. When i sat down in my car, that was when he decided to drive up to the rear of my car and stop.
I decided to hang out on this dead end road because it is mostly peaceful. But someone decided to call the cops on me for being here too long (less than 24 hours).

Just heard Travis' Live on this one; I can understand now IMHO how this cop's body language changes the view of the interaction, watching from the cop's car for sometime first, pulling up quickly after seeing TH sit in his car, then speed-walking up to TH in order to corner him in his door before he can get out of his car again, very closely talking without taking steps back out of personal space when it's verbally noted 2x, then the strange staring eye contact. Seen at eye level, up close would seem aggressive.

Exactly, Tiedemann rushed Travis, which tends to escalate confrontations, which this clearly was. Oh, Mason City PD, ya might wanna retrain this one. The cop had no idea what can of worms he was monkeying with.

The standing close, and thousand yard stare are used to intimidate and unnerve, it's not by accident.......all designed to keep the victim feeling uncomfortable. "Territorial intrusion" covers the premise in psychology.

I would love to see the FOIA on Dopey's report. KNOWN TO POLICE: "We coactively pestered him to the point he did something about it." We all know the narrative but when they put it into the system, that isn't just screwing with Travis, his rights, even his persona, but sets Travis up in the future. Temple Grandin created a system for cattle to be ushered to being moved, branded, treatments, etc. She is autistic and understood the cattle's way of thinking which allowed her to create passages the cattle could move through with less fear. She had empathy for the animals. The human equal has been created however there are only have a few clowns who grasp how it works, so they revert to 'breaking' tactics instead. Murika!

The best that I can tell, Iowa has no "stop and id" statute, and Travis was not stopped for a traffic violation (no probable cause). Once Travis learned that there was no parking violation, he most likely could have said: "I'm going to invoke my right to remain silent. I am not obligated to assist you in your investigation" and that would be it. "Am I detained?" would be good to get an answer. Whatever the answer is, it is good to get this on camera.

I remember growing up most times no matter what you were doing if cops drove by most of the time they would just wave and smile(sometimes) but even if there was a call they would just pull right up in their car and ask what you were up to. They would never even get out. It would be a quick 3 or 4 minutes then they would leave. Those days are long gone now! It is such a shame because it will never be that way again.
