Copbait: Pacifica Police Games; added commentary to statements [reupload]

I removed that stupid conversation with Officer Rosetti (was in the middle of the raw video). Only 1 out of 3 cops gave their first name. I emailed: www.cityofpacif...
Sergeant Dominic Albanese
Officer William Smith
Officer Jefferson Rosete
It's amazing how the psychopath will commit his crime and then blame the victim for engaging in the same crime. They are delusional and only want you to see things their way, because, to them, their way is the only right way.
Could removing the rank system in police reduce their militaristic approach?

You can't be kicked off [your own] public property unless you've committed an actual crime, and they have to give you a warning before you're actually trespassing. I know I live in Missouri. And I had a similar run-in with Lee Summit Police Department. I was on school property throwing things in a recycle bin. They told me that I had to identify myself. When the sergeant got there she told me she was going to contact the school district and get them to press trespassing charges. State law says I have to be knowingly trespassing. As in there has to be a sign or I had to have crossed an obvious barrier. When I filed complaints the captain told me that they could have just pressed second degree trespassing on me. Which shows me the his officers didn't know the law at all. Because the sergeant thought she had to contact the school district to get them to press charges on me. Yet state law says that you have to be warned before your trespassed and you have to know you're trespassing. They're all a bunch of dumbasses.

trespassing or steeling "free Wi-Fi".....classic.... Most of the cops in Pacifica are either very young or just out of the academy and putting in their time to move to a better paying department (very evident in this video). I reside in Pacifica (hence the "Pac" in my title). I hate that these cops are oblivious to their constitutional vows, but in today's world it is unexpected. The Sanchez library has an "after hours" book drop, around the left corner of the front doors by the outside water fountain. This is so you can drop off articles "after hours" (so one can have business there when the business is closed). I've lived here for a while and keep up with current events. That library was here before I relocated here so surely it's been vandalized/burglarized but I don't recollect it happening for quite some time....

People do break into buildings just to use the bathroom. But for a cop to believe they can catch someone in the act of a crime is a stretch of the imagination because of the rarity. Cops dig for gold in places that aren't known for having gold. They believe "blind luck" will be in their favor and if they can't find what they are looking for in a criminal, they accuse the person of another crime to start digging again on that.

They couldn't care less about the library. Library is just a pretext, same as window tint, improper turn, driving too slow, suspicious person, and 100 other things. What they really hope for is catching one day someone big by means of checking the ID, and making career move. "If a detainee is wanted by police in another jurisdiction, the cop scores double points. If the gods are smiling, the detainee will be wanted by the Secret Service or the FBI. This scores triple points and extra bragging rights in the locker room. Of course, there’s another level entirely, one with more substantial prizes. If a cop’s prisoner is on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list, or on the terrorist list of the Homeland Security Agency, or if he’s being sought in a nationwide manhunt broadcast on TV-bing, bong, bing, bong-it’s Lotto time! Job promotion? Book deal? A chat with Oprah? Absolutely. Is that the National Enquirer calling? FedEx the check and let’s talk! The most serious crimes are solved not by dogged detective work, but by street policing by a cop who stops someone suspicious and says, “Hey you, come over here! Got some ID?” That’s right. Merely by pulling over cars and stopping people on the street, police catch an astounding number of bad guys." (from the book "Arrest-Proof Yourself" by Dale Carson)

George Stauss Because libraries are places for people to use computers and Wi-fi that their tax dollars pay for. Libraries have after school programs. Quiet rooms to study and watch videos. There are many more pluses that the library offers. They have copies of newspapers going years back, Records you could not find on the Internet. Copy machines. Librarians are notary public, if you need something notarized. Etc. Etc. You are joking right?

Freedom Woodgas Many libraries will use a program to cut the wifi off at night. I seen it done at Starbucks, and McDonalds as well, if I'm not mistaken. This library cuts the wifi signal off at 11pm. Some libraries will only offer wifi during the library hours. But this is very extreme and rare. Astoria, Oregon.

@laurie overbey I didn’t realize you could steal public WiFi. Maybe they could add a simple password if it’s not available to everyone. Our library and school have Wi-Fi that is not password-protected so it is accessible to anyone who wants to use it. It is a publicly accessible service provided to the community.

If the Wifi has no Password Protection, then it is implied that it is not "Private" therefore can not be considered 'Stealing'
