Police were on a call in Germantown, Tennessee

around 10:44pm March, 20, I was in the Hobby Lobby 1991 Exeter Rd, Germantown, TN 38138 goo.gl/maps/T4... parking lot relaxing. This area is very busy, active, and affluent. I half expected that I would be approached wanted to stay another day and get familiar with the area, but that involves risk of police interaction.
I thought there is a law about being on public property at night. But my mentioning that to a cop didn't seem to produce the reaction that I expected. maybe, the felony is more something that the prosecutor adds on later.
I have a Gopro Volta, that had the gopro 9, which I placed on the roof of the car.

I love how you just keep telling stories until they simply leave... Grampa Simpson: We can't bust heads like we used to. But we have our ways. One trick is to tell stories that don't go anywhere. Like the time I caught the ferry to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe. So I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. "Gimme five bees for a quarter," you'd say. Now where were we... oh yeah. The important thing was that I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have any white onions, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

For Christ sakes don't stop. Finish the story. The detail about the nickels and the onions has me hooked. My imagination is running wild. Maybe I should become a writer like you. When I finish this response I'm off to do research on nickels while I'm in quarantine for Covid 19. I don't know the variant but it's the sickest I 've been in decades. I have to consume a reasonable ammount of water every day but it hurts so much to swallow I might just dehydrate out and die. I counted how many swallows it took to drink a medium size glass of water and the number was 97 exactly which would have taken less if I could have just downed the glass without stopping as with that technique the swallows become more voluminous as you proceed up to a point but it hurt so bad I had to just take a single swallow at a time. I was getting a little light headed at the end and felt like I might pass out. My car broke down and is still in the shop but my neighbor who lives about 3 miles away brought me some medicine and a thermometer which I had requested. She had her daughter do it because she is recovering from knee replacement. She was concerned the daughter might get stuck on our 1/4 mile long drive way with 42 inch tall vertical snow banks ( that's because I use a snowblower instead of a plow truck) and so she told me she was having someone sand our road so that if we needed an ambulance or other assistance we would be in the clear. The we is I take care of my mom with dementia who is 90 plus years old. I didn't want the sanding for several reasons but didn't object as I couldn't blame her for looking out for her daughter. I don't like the sand at this point in the winter because if it snows again enough to need clearing I will be sanding the paint off of every contact surface which I don't want plus it turns our beautiful porcelain white drive into a filthy eye sore. The third reason is it puts to many fines on the road and makes it easier for vegetation to grow. Tell me if you have any questions or you want to hear about the snowshoe hares I had to kill at the cabin I own a short distance away. They were eating the bark off all the Apple trees I planted 40 plus years ago. I guess I should correct something and that is that the daughter mentioned above is really a grand daughter as the actual daughter passed away years ago and so she was adopted by her grandmother. Well I got to go do that research on those nickels before it gets any later and I start feeling to bad from the virus. I always feel worse in the evenings. Thank goodness for Tylenol.

Congratulation Travis, you have mastered the art of taking control and de-escalating! You wore these guys down. 1st cop didn't know what to do when you we're pressing for his ID, that was hilarious. They were both rocking back and forth squirming when you were talking about rice and crawfish, one had to walk away he was so nervous, they were freaked out by your confidence and all the cameras. Then after the 1st cop was trying to explain why he bothered you, the 2nd cop admits they encrypt their radio after the 1st cop had completely denied it, he knew he was just caught lying on camera. They were just grateful you let them walk away. Great job Travis!

One of my favorite parts of Tennessee is the opening line of their state constitution! The doctrine of non-resistance against arbitrary power is absurd, slavish and counter productive to a free society. ❤❤❤

Another great video Travis. If they were working on another call then why would they spend time on Travis? But hey I like listening to Travis too so I can see why they would stop working and learn something from the legend himself.

I don’t know why I love this stuff so much. Travis…………blah-blah-blah…rice…blah-blah-blah…crawfish… blah-blah-blah…..???.... What the cops are hearing…..wahh-whahh-wahh. The nervous energy from the police a couple minutes in is outstanding. Looking at each other like wft….let’s roll on outa here…..It doesn’t take more than a minute to realize Travis is harmless. Great stuff.

Be safe Travis. It seems unusual to me the way you are in contact with the cops so often. I could never speak to the cops for this long on this level. Basically I just can't chit chat with cops. I've got nothing to say to them. I'd say I have contempt of cop. I just want to be left alone by them .
