A special thank you to Brian for making me aware I had accidentally uploaded last week's video in error this week. I hope you enjoy this vlog instead. My 50 Before 50- Modern Classics video will be available next week. Apologies for the little blip. Thanks for watching 😀

The beach looks gorgeous! Yay for browsing the local charity shops! Tell the Wolves I'm Home sounds interesting. Yay for jigsaws and books! Beautiful flowers! It looks like a very nice place where you stayed. I agree, some books lent themselves well to reading bits at a time and others are better to just read that one book. Such beautiful nature! Glad you had a great holiday!

Thank you 😃 It was a lovely area to relax for a few days. I really enjoyed just reading one book at a time and really getting into it. I've not heard many people talk about Tell The Wolves I'm Home.

Thanks for taking us along Debra, the place you were staying looked beautiful and how lovely to have the beach to yourself on several occasions. I agree the excerpt you read and that picture go so well together. I also like to get books set in areas I'm visiting, but I'm usually too much of a poor planner to do this!

You are welcome. It was such a lovely, peaceful place. I really enjoyed reading a book in the same setting. It's definitely something I would do again.

I'm jealous of your beach holiday! I loved the sandy videos and your outdoor filming. The cottage you stayed at looked lovely. Matching your reading choices to your location was a brilliant piece of fun too. It's crazy that you read about certain locations so close to you!

That was a very enjoyable travelog of your trip to Norfolk - so, even if it was a late replacement for the video you originally intended to put up, thanks for sharing some lovely shots of the local scenery as well as the results of your raid on the book section of the local charity shop. It seems that the UK is getting yet another heat wave - at this rate my family will be asking if they can come over and spend a week with me and the wife in Florida to get away from the heat! :-) Anyway, thanks again for the video and I hope you continue to enjoy your summer reading. All the best, Brian.

Thanks Brian. The heatwave stage seems to be over now in the UK. Although we are all going to be missing the heat this winter with the crazy energy prices we are having to deal with 😥 I'm really pleased you enjoyed the vlog. Take care and look after yourself 😀

Earnest thanks for sharing portions of your vacation with us. A mentor in music once taught me a song about Norfolk, but my picturing of it had hitherto stopped at "England." 's nice to put a face with the names, so to speak 🙂

Thank you. Norfolk is a very flat county by the coast. Huge amounts of our produce are grown there. It's lovely to visit the coast but we are surrounded by hills and dales at home so it's weird with everywhere being so flat.

This is lovely! One of my favorite things about booktube is having people show footage of the area they live in. If I could afford it I'd travel a lot more than I do LOL! The scene at the 11:37 moment looks a lot like where I live in Iowa.

Thanks Art. Yes I would love to travel more too. The landscape is Norfolk is very flat and large amounts of produce are grown in the area. It does look like the footage I have seen of you out and about in your countryside. Where I live in North Yorkshire in the Yorkshire Dales is the complete opposite - lots of big hills everywhere 😀

What a great vlog! You’re so much better at vlogging than me! Being in Norfolk, you were very close to Suffolk. Your cabin was gorgeous! I’m really intrigued by The Sewing Machine book and to find out what your new project is 😊📚

I enjoy the creativity of vlogging but they do take ages to edit. Yes Suffolk was very close but I don't think we've ever ventured that way. It was a lovely quiet rural spot to relax. Could have done with a few more days there.

Hello 😃 I first visited Norfolk as a child and we went camping to Hunstanton. It's a lovely area. Thank you for the pronunciation. Really interesting. I assume that is maybe a Norfolk dialect? Much appreciated
