RE the “Becky and I didn’t have sex for 3 years” complaint ALR has: Remember when emotional labor was first discussed and experts talked about how when there is a partner that essentially takes on the “parent” role (usually mother in het relationships) that the intimacy severely decreases? How when you see your partner as someone to care for, clean up after, nag to do things like go to the doctor, clean them, etc. you see them more like a child and that’s not attractive? Yeah. Maybe ALR should read up about that.

Personally, it doesnt effect my and my gfs intimacy and might even have helped it. You wouldnt really understand ifnyou werent in the situation. I see her as bith my protector and my soon wife. But shes never and never eill have to shower me because i physically cant, wipe my ass, or half the shit becky did for amberlynn, so this isnt any defense of her, just trying to say not all relationships are like that, and some need that to work, BUT NEVER TO THE EXTENT ALR TOOK IT. If i was becky i wouldnt want to be with her either, not even bc of the care, but because shes such a passive aggressive bad word. Tldr: protector and slight caregiving will not always ruin a relationship if both are on the right page. One small detail about Shrimpgate: she ate the whole thing. There was another mukbang where she had a rotisserie chicken and she did not consume all of it...at least on camera. One of the reaction channels speculated that the reason she's using the word "dehumanizing" is because it is used in KZread's terms of service. Some channels believe that there is a good chance that she is planning to strike channels on the basis of harassment rather than copyright and that it will be targeted for December which is the month where channels make the most $$.

And it came right after her a video that fooled everyone into thinking she was making huge changes in her life and health. After all the positive affirmations from viewers, shrimpgate was her response. It’s when I unsubbed.

Amber has a bigger platform than 99.9% of her viewers and yet claims she is being silenced and dehumanized because people say that morally speaking she _should_ not talk about something. But there she is, constantly sharing her ideas and experiences on multiple platforms, which is carried even further by the people discussing her and making videos about her. She is the last person who should be complaining about not being heard or allowed to share her life. It’s all she does, and no one is taking it away from her. She is just heavily criticized and scrutinized, as is fair.

Honestly, i wonder how big of a fuss she would make if she'd actually give a controversial opinion and get legitimate backslash for it, considering how bad she handles any type of different opinion. I kinda relate to amber in a strange way, I'm an*rexic, since I was twelve. But I've been going basically through the same cycle as her, I recover and then something triggers me or I go through a traumatic experience and I go back to te eating disorder and when I'm in it I don't want to go back to being healthy since it's basically my only coping sistem. People with eating disorders get addictions really easily so I can also kind of relate to her in that sense, she's addicted to food and that is the worst type of addiction since you can't quit it cold turkey, you need it to survive. I think if she had never joined KZread she would probably have a better life.

My fave is her explaining that her doing nothing and filming it, is content. HOWEVER, reacting to her doing nothing can't be transformative, because she isn't doing anything. Gurl- it is hella transformative. Channels like Alex is Shook manage to transform Amber doing nothing, into something watchable. They make watchable reactions from no content. That is actually why I watch Alex is Shook. I wish that he would move on from these gurls and just do YT drama in general. I don't actually want to know about ALR or FB anymore... but Alex is just so funny to watch, no matter what he is talking about.

Please, only watch Amberlynn therough reaction channels. First of all, makes it much easier, more palletable to watch. She's too lazy to edit, grow, buy a camera or mic, or actually make interesting content. Don't line Amberlynn's pockets. She'll only kill herself with it faster.

I find that a lot of the "decline" of the reaction channels started about a year and a half ago...when everyone started live streaming. I can do 20-30 minute recorded videos of reactions to the Gorls. But no matter how much I like the reaction channel/creator, I absolutely can't watch someone talk about them for hours at a time! On the plus side, Kiwi Farms is mostly gone.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!! People need to be made aware of how manipulative and toxic she is and people like me, who have to deal with narcs since birth, "literally", are absolutely without protection of her bs. And get triggered over and over again, and sucked into it, she uses her health to her them viewers dangling like a fish 🎣. I was used to get sucked back into it by guilt tripping and getting love in portions. That's the way she does it, just with her audience's worries and concerns about her health. As soon as she gets backlash for her shtty behavior, she starts to post about health problems again. It's every single time!! And every time she is get caught in lies. Partially getting her lies exposed by her own self. And people get frustrated and angry then THEN she starts to blame people and to lash out in the lowest niveau / level you can think of. Barbaric, in an emotional sense. People need to be warned about her. It's slowly but surely getting so obvious anyway, because she used all these tactics years ago and now they won't work anymore the way they did, so she gets frustrated and desperate for people to fall for her gaslighting and manipulation, so that she shows her real face in those times. And on top of that, she herself is hurting herself with being on KZread the way she is. What did she do all these years? You all can see what's the outcome of her life with KZread. Nothing good. And in my opinion, with all of the above being said, she needs to leave KZread asap, just to save herself, let alone all the damage she has done and continues to make! For herself and others that she's sucked into this with her manipulation. She developed to be a bad person, up to the point of her even admitting her manipulative thumbnails and trolling with her health and getting people concerned and frustrated afterwards by lying around. Gosh I can't with her....

Amazing video! So glad it came up on my recommended page. You touched exactly why so many people are so hard on Amberlynn. It isn't and truly never was her size or weight. It's because of her attitude, entitlement, and victimhood. Some people go for her size or weight because it's the low hanging fruit, but it's not really that, it's how she reacts to criticism. Even people who give her comments on her actions, she says it's because of her size. She wears her size as a shield for the fact that she isn't a good person.

I'm one of those who like the definition of words because defining terms facilitates communication. Suppressed would have been more appropriate than dehumanized.

I live 20 minutes from Lexington and it's still pretty yeehaw it's not as bad as eastern or western Kentucky but it is definitely yeeyee

her ableism claims are so fucking painful. I am disabled, I have diagnosed dysautonomia, hypotension, nerve issues, etc. I use mobility aids, im getting a service dog. People treat me very poorly. I am very isolated because people treat me differently. Amberlynn has no idea what it's like.

As a Patron, my suggestion is like...maybe a stream reacting to something, because I'm shitty at catching live streams but would enjoy watching the recording of you reacting to a thing

I live in Lexington, KY now! It's the horse capital of the world and I love how green the area is. It's high in bio and cultural diversity. Everyone in Kentucky who needs medical help comes to Lexington. I've been to all the states and all the largest cities, and this city is by far my favorite. People are generally happy and helpful here. When you think of "yee-haw" Kentucky, Louisville and Lexington should be excluded, but you go like an hour southeast of Lexington and you'll definitely get "yee-haw" lol.

Amber wants to do and say anything she wants about anyone and anything without conscience but no one can say anything about her and her behavior. And that's what the most infuriating thing about her

My great grandparents were dehimanized: the nazis marched in, forced them from their homes, shoved their families into cattle cars to Auschwitz-Birkenau, and they were ultimately gassed or died from slave labor (before which they were stripped, shaved, tattooed and beaten). Great grandfather survived Auschwitz and Mauthausen. Great Grandmother, her sister and brother survived as Schindler Jews (thank you Oskar Schindler) tho their family was killed in the Krakow Ghetto Liquidation in 1943 or carted off to Belzec. Great grandfather's family were killed in not only Auschwitz, but also Chelmno and Treblinka and Ukranian cousins shot to death by an Einstazgruppen Squad, with the youngest being a baby. She has no FUCKING clue what dehumanization is. I want to scream at her when she uses it

so excited to watch this. ive followed amberlynn reid/ the amberverse for years, and ive always gone so back and fourth between seeing her point sometimes, to completely agreeing with the "haters". I also used to LOVE ydhb, and while i still like her, i find her content sometimes feels like quite a reach. like it takes away a bit from the point shes making when she starts making baseless comparisons, or saying that amber has x,y,z psychological conditions for doing things that are overall just.... pretty regular lol. thats not to say shes always wrong or amber is perfect and does NONE of those things, but just sometimes it makes me wonder like... why are we analyzing why amber bought a lego set or why she ordered a pop from mcdonalds. it doesnt seem that deep.

I don't understand why there are so many reaction channels still going. Like, I watched Zachary Micheal for their 1000lbs Sisters recaps, but then during the season break they went back to Amber. And constantly complaining about how boring it is. So just....don't do it anymore. There's surely someone else you can react to to keep your views. And if not, then you apparently aren't a good host. I'm not really an ALR supporter (though I have a LOT of criticisms for the *Haydurs*), but it's the complaining of how boring she is now that annoys me. PS, I'm glad you corrected Becky's pronouns. As someone with they/them pronouns, it's nice to see people acknowledge when they accidentally slip up. I tend to notice the slip ups more than when creators just use the wrong ones.

I was interested thanks to the Cecil McFly video, took a look, wasn't into it and dropped it. It amuses me when people make assumptions about what I watch because I have an opinion on something.

I know this is an old topic, but when you consider that Amber deadnamed an ex who "allegedly in Minecraft" R-ain A-nd P-etals E-avesdropped her (and justified the dead name because "Chasity doesn't exist anymore."), I can't say I'm surprised she dredged up the embarassing vibrating wedding proposal and basically blamed Becky for her "totally real and not fake for clout" cancer diagnosis.😒

It’s interesting that you’re talking about Amberlynn using the word dehumanizing wrong because yesterday I was watching Vangelina Skov talking about pixielocks who’s been talking about how she’s been abused and she’s in danger (and maybe she genuinely has been abused and maybe she could be in danger) but she was talking about threads on lolcow being abuse when it’s not. Hurtful, yes, but not abuse. I’m not sure of everything she’s been accused of, but she always downplays it by putting the word controversy in quotations and she told Vangelina why would you make a video about “my controversies” when I already made a video that people can watch and everyone has already moved on from that situation. It was a very emotionally manipulative conversation (Vangelina showed the Twitter dms) but pixie is so adamant that she’s just trying to protect herself and be nice and it might not be her consciously trying to be manipulative, but either way it’s pretty obvious that she’s not really a good person. So yeah, it’s just really frustrating when people genuinely try to use such strong words like abuse, dehumanizing, gaslighting, triggered, and other words in a much less serious way that completely downplays people who have trauma and have actually experienced those things. But I’d be really interested in your thoughts on pixie and the things she had to say. The only video I know of is the Vangelina video I mentioned, aside from the one pixie herself made, plus the tweets and dms that Vangelina showed. I’m sure there’s gonna be more, but pixie got mad that Vangelina was “trying to profit off of her trauma” or something while she had done a video with iNabber talking about Gabbie Hanna’s mental health episode from those TikToks she made. Idk pretty hypocritical of her and possibly a more complex situation than I really know, plus I feel like I’m pretty good at reading between the lines if you will, but I’ve never studied rhetoric to know everything I should be looking for
