Honestly I'm so deeply upset the Def Noodles roasts died so soon. It was getting so cringe, I loved every minute of it. It's sad that as soon as Stephen started hosting it got axed. Maybe they'll be back one day but like... wow, what an era to be in the commentary community. Like will we ever see something that insane again? Idk, I really cherish stuff like that. This is so bland in comparison. Not your video, but, the players and their actions. The fact that you're even able to form this lump of coal into something entertaining is sterling, beautiful and brave.

I like it cause its like a college paper, I like that you state the concepts he falls into all together then elaborate on them. It is a really nice format

i think another disgusting thing keem has done which has gone unnoticed by a surprisingly large amount of people is when he finally did an interview with the pyrocynical french girl, the entire time he was purely focused on getting as much shit out about pyro (which in the end he didn't, as pyro was innocent), blatantly ignoring the girl's more important issue and story on being allegedly sexually assaulted by another big youtuber. He just completely ignored that story since it wasn't about pyro, the guy he was after with this entire interview and for this entire time.

Mika, as someone who used to watch Keemstar, I felt that this video was very fair and factual. Appreciate your unique perspective as always.

He comes across as someone who is deeply insecure about what other people think of him but doesn't know how to act, so he does the most toxic shit imaginable then wonders why those people don't want to be his friend. Literal 5-year-old behaviour lmao. He is also very emotional but I bet he thinks he comes across as stoic and rational, like in those "files on top of files" rants to Pyro he seems almost manic. He has an air of sadness about him idk why, like he has sad eyes. I don't feel sorry for him at all but he must've learned to act like that from somewhere

Not so much for his commentary (even though I agree) but Colleen's rhetoric regarding KZread taking monetization on children's videos with p's comments. The way she structured her arguments were....interesting and I saw a lot of things I recognize but lack the knowledge in theory, etc. to know what they are....I think she's important to look at since so many of her viewers are young. One thing that I hate about Daniel is how he words things depending on who he's talking to. Like with Amo, for instance. A beautiful woman who is FAAAR richer than Daniel the Gnome. (Mika has already established how he gets jealous and competitive with other creators.) On Amo being married: She LIED to her fans bc she thinks YOU'RE STUPID!! (I think he's playing to the incels here.) When he hears that her husband forced her to keep quiet about the marriage: So, after everyone saying that she's a great business woman, we all found out that HE was actually calling the shots. Does that make him a great businessman then? (Here he's appealing to the "business bro's" and the misogynists by implying that she stole the credit her husband "deserved".) No matter what he says he straddles the fence. Logically (or with a straight face), you can't blame Amo for lying AND praise her scumbag husband for calling the shots. That's another reason why he tweets certain points 1 tweet at a time. That way only 1 gets seen and it makes it harder to call him out for his dumbass, backwards logic that never makes sense. He does it ALLLLL the time.

Watching this video had me wondering on what would be the method that'd be most effective for reporting internet news.. Recently, I had started watching a vtuber report on vtuber news who essentially just reads twitter updates on stream or company announcements and seldom providing his own opinion. Is vtubing the most safe way to have a personality that an audience can relate to while being anonymous? I know watching something emote and have a face can elicit more of a connection between the commentator and the person so I wonder if wearing a png costume really is The Move idk

Can you imagine booking Keemstar for your wedding? That's hilarious. Hopefully he just minds his own business but it wouldn't be surprising if your predictions about his behavior in response to this video are correct. He exhibits the typical disenfranchised victim act over criticism. That's how you can tell it hurts him deeply, so great job on this video because it might dent his ego. You know you've made him feel threatened if he insults or attacks you, it's his only act of over compensation to manipulate his image as a manly man. Keem _is_ like a roach. He gets in the middle of everything, everywhere. A few months ago, I was watching a smaller channel livestreaming (~100 viewers) about something that changed to whichever drama topic du jour. They had the person on a Discord call insisting they "weren't trying to get attention" and had "proof" of such, but it was part of a group convo that had parts they didn't want public (idk - could have been personal info, trash talk, w/e). They could have just redacted those parts, so idk. But point is: Keem was there, apparently. Showed up in the chat - and it was him - being like, "Call me! Lemme call! What's the Discord?" They accepted, and shared that screenshot with him under the condition that he'd "keep it private". He agreed, saw it, and insisted that, "No, yeah, didn't do it. Ain't lying." I don't know how they trusted him, nor how it worked out after that, but what a sad, low point for Keem.

*Why am I still getting hate* ...oh, wait, there are files on tops of files. It must have been a herculean task to condense a list of Keemstar's online beefs down to a mere 34 minutes. From what I can tell, his feelings on Tony are... complex. "I offered him money! I even played Runescape with him, and that's the most boring game, ever! That proves I had nothing but the best intentions!" From an armchair psychologist viewpoint, I find the way he personifies the internet, and puts being entertaining above everything else, fascinating. I don't think that he lacks empathy; it's just baffling to him that someone can have fundamentally different values and, if they don't name a price, they must be trying to take advantage of him and/or holding out for more money. The antisemitism isn't as portrayed, by that Ethan Klein tweet, but it was probably well before your time. Pewdiepie was trying to see how far you could push fiverr-type services, and was convinced that they wouldn't hold up a sign that read "d3@th to all j3ws", followed by "subscribe to Keemstar". Ethan made a video in Pewds defense, even though he seemed to not understand the joke. The idea that someone would hold up a "subscribe to Keemstar" sign is truly shocking. Keemstar made a joke that the next step would be to spam the former statement to Ethan Klein, and is adamant that not a single person did so. I'm inclined to believe Keemstar on that, considering that Ethan Klein didn't include that in a Nuke video. 15:09 It's so trippy to see a fat Keemstar, being interviewed by a skinny H3H3.

@@MikasRhetoric They really should do something about the antisemitic option on the Scantron tests. They're taking advantage of Keemstar's dyslexia! I have to rewatch his explanation of why he made the Amouranth tweets, because I got lost in all the twists and turns of the path his logic went down.

@@MikasRhetoric Actually, come to think of it, a dive into the rhetoric of lowtax could be interesting, since his "the internet makes you stupid" mantra and Something Awful were the primordial ooze for what molded a tiny young Daniel Keem into a tiny old DJ Killer Keemstar. The problem is that it's literally before you were born, so would be very difficult to research. As the k1w1farms founder said, "lowtax is incapable of taking anything seriously, which makes him infuriating," and if a 20-something with a moral code(???) like his can't stomach 80s kid edgelords, maybe it's for the best that people forget that the 90s internet existed, since we've obviously learned nothing from its mistakes.

If the red watch bar's to be believed, I'd been subscribed to you with notifications on, ever since your first Creepshow Art video, and got a couple of sidebar recommendations, but no actual notifications. I guess that I'll need what's left of the year to catch up. I've still got a soft spot for Nicholas DeOrio, though. He's the only one from the Internet Bloodsports scene who grew up, broadened his political understanding, and got a real job, while the rest are still alt-right grifting bloodsuckers, preserved in GamerGate amber.

I think it was actually meant to be “absolve”? Because the word used in its place was “dissolve.” Although I would definitely dissolve Keemstar if given the chance in Minecraft.
