Glad to be back! I was blissfully unaware of the entire incident until after the video was posted. 16 minutes later though, I'm thinking the AP USA Nazi ordeal may have to take a back seat...Dear Zuul the next video's going to be long.

Haha! I'm the one that mentioned being harassed by lady weebs. Its still sooo small of a number compared to the daily harassment from dudes I've gotten. Good job on calling "Karen" out on her shit.

My own sister used to touch me as a kid. Yes most men touch women but let's not forget cases older women thinking touching these younger boys and calling themselves"cougars" when they are stripping these young men innocence away. My auntie husband's mom molested him as a kid. I did feel bad for him.

Kind of glad I didn't get sucked into the rabbit hole with Karen. I don't think I could've held back. Although I'm curious as to how she got so "red pill". I always love seeing people's outfits. I'm bad at remembering prints so they're useful to me. Also it's a great way to hear about indie brands (although not so applicable here). ^-^

There are some things that cannot be unseen. I suggest ice cream for the sober, that or insert-other-diet-approved-brain-numbing-foodstuff-of-your-choice, because of vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free-trans-humanist-hybrids who exist on stardust and a steady sense of anxiety whilst ordering ANYTHING at a restaurant.

Why do people ever say anything politically charged on facebook? And why say it on a Lolita group discussion? I'm going to be really honest with my opinion here; given the toxic nature of how facebook is structured, it is a very very bad idea to ever step into a sensitive subject. It's really best to stay away from those conversations and to instead, if you want to talk about it, do it over voice chat or in real life. Without getting too personal, I have gotten in political comment flame wars with my own father, because he didn't understand that I actually agreed with him, but for different reasons, and that coming to the same conclusion but from different perspectives is not the same as disagreeing. We've, collectively, gotten very polarized in the last few years and although I have some theories on why, the reality is it means that it's easier then ever to mistakenly trigger a dumpster fire. And before I stop babbling, I'd like to add the following; can we stop politicizing Lolita fashion? Like, everyone has the right to engage in Lolita for reasons they derive from it, but can we stop then projecting those reasons onto other people? I have no problem with people seeing political symbolism in the fashion, but I am very tired of people then telling me how I should perceive my own experience. Do you feel that Lolita is feminist in nature? Great for you; I don't. That does not mean that it isn't or can't be, but I have been literally told to my face how I should think of the experience instead of accepting that maybe we're doing the same activity but getting different things out of it. For me Lolita is a form of stress relief; focusing on something that has no dire consequences helps me lighten up as a person. Every time I stress out about something regarding Lolita, I end up bursting out into laughter when it hits that; "wait, I'm worried about this pink dress? Jeez, I must be doing pretty good in life if I'm this emotionally invested!". It's also kind of like a low-impact sport; I can't do a lot of things, but damn if I can't put on a dress and show up at an event were we all admire the effort put into dressing up. So then when someone starts projecting serious political stuff onto me and my hobby, I feel like that's robbing me of having my own experience. So I guess the tl;dr of this youtube comment is; Don't step in da poo-poo.

I mean.. you do need to have an egg present in order to get pregnant and periods are pretty much the inverse of ovulation. It's *technically* possible to get pregnant if you have sex while on your period but that's really only if you have sex towards the end of your period, you have a long bleed-time (like a week or more), you happen to ovulate a bit early and the "lucky" sperm is particularly long-lasting. Possible? Yeah for sure, plenty of people have gotten preggernet that way -- there are a lot of people and waaay weirder things have happened in the creation of children. Likely? Not really. Especially if it's period day 1. (Sorry for being pedantic -- it just feels appropriate given the whole theme of LWLN 😘😜 ¿ h o w g e t p r e g g e r n e t ?

It's true that it's actually a lot harder for people to get pregnant than we think, I still wouldn't encourage risky behavior if someone isn't looking to have a kid. Not that you are XD

The only description of rape culture I have ever heard is 'a culture in which rape is accepted or condoned' which to me clearly isn't the case in the west. Rapist are possibly more hated than murderers.

Therefore, the way we make some cases of rape acceptable is through defining such case as not ‘rape’/‘sexual harassment’ or define the person doing such act as not ‘rapist.’ For example questioning the victim’s clothing implies an ‘invitation’ for the rapist, thus negating the act of the rapist ignoring the victim’s consent (since the society assumes consent from clothing alone). Here the act of raping is excused due to not defining the act as ‘raping’. In this case, the person also excuse the sexual harassment as defining it as ‘not sexual harassment’

Wish Lolita was less closely tied to feminism and SJWs. Would love to get a break from radical college theory in my free time for once. Everyone is supportive of “sisters” and “other women” until they have a slightly different opinion than you.
