I honestly kind of love it, but mostly because I enjoy the dark humor jokes I can make about wearing a subject matter that Im allergic to. XD

I wasn't expecting to learn more about yen inflation than literally anything else I read about it. Anyway, Medicine of Love is so nuts that I ended up preordering it. I like the way the detergent dress and purse looks too. The barn themed dress reminds me sooo much of Windows default wallpaper.

As far as Japan Yen, two more points 1) The bank of Japan is trying to defend the Japanese Bond market, as in holding Japanese Government Bond rate very low. 2) Last year the offerical dept to GDP for Japan passed 255%. The Japanese bank is saleing USA bonds to raise money to buy back Yen. Currency trading market seems to think BOJ can do this for some time. But the USD is believed by the currency markets to go up. So in the short run watching the the exchange rate could pay off.

Wunderwelt is so nice to buy from internationally right now. Watched a dress get discounted several times and lose another dollar in price every few days due to conversion rates, then went on sale on top of all that. Decided "Yeah, now's the time to buy" so I asked my mom for it as a birthday present. She gave me the money for it, but I didn't ask for shipping money figuring I'd pay it myself, but between how little Wunderwelt is charging for shipping right now and a discount code I found online, I bought the dress, shipping included, with like an extra $10-15 leftover. I live in Japan. The whole section on the Japanese economy hit way too close to home. The assassination and yesterday's election results are going to further affect the yen. Many smaller non-lolita clothing and textile manufacturers have been shutting down, despite government subsidies through the pandemic, because of lower demand. Even more are closing their factories now because of the rise in the price of raw materials and energy. It may be a matter of time until this affects lolita fashion brands.
