@@francispower1418 it depends where it was, where I live we have at will employment meaning you can quit or be fired at any point no matter the reason unless it was like discrimination (I believe, take this with a grain of salt)

Mochi needs to contact the Department of Labor or their country's equivalent, the police, and a lawyer. That's not legal in most countries. They need a restraining order, compensation for the loss of revenue, compensation for deformation of character, compensation for destroyed property, and those who are responsible deserve to be held accountable. Mochi deserves better and those people need to be held responsible for their actions if they are going to have any hope of change.

The girl from the first story dodged a major bullet. If her ex overreacted this aggressively IN PUBLIC over a cute dress, what else would he have been capable of if she did something 'worse' than that? Doesn't sound like a guy I'd want to be alone with behind closed doors. As for BonBon, I think it'd be cute to treat the beard as an extension of your hair: if long enough, they can put clips/bows/braids in there. Or heck, they can even just keep it as is. If well-groomed, I think a beard would blend in perfectly since the average lolita coord has a lot going on anyway. So the beard would just become yet another detail in your look.

Hi. Mochi, I'm not a lawyer (yet), but if you're in the US, I'm pretty sure you have a legal case against your ex. In fact, there are several tort claims you might be able to make here (his actions could easily be seen as intentional infliction of emotional distress and battery, but there may be other things that could be relevant here). Please talk to a lawyer about what happened and try to get some legal help, because what your ex did is incredibly messed up. I wish you the best!

if she's in the US she can at least get back at the job that fired her over discrimination. this makes me so appreciative that my boss is maximum amount of chill and lets me wear lolita when I work at the shop. it's a tea place so it's pretty thematic with the vibe of the place but still. it's the pedos fault for being creeps and sexualizing things, not ours for liking cute fluffy dresses. I've got no solution to getting root beer stains out though :(

Depends on where she lives. In most "Right to Work" states like Texas, they can fire you for no reason. They literally don't need a reason at all. Instead of firing you because you are gay/etc, they fire you because of . Only certain protected federal classes are protected and even then, it's incredibly hard to sue an employer and win.

I think in most countries she can actually get legal involved. Because he messed with her place of employment. which at this point it's her walking in to a lawyers office in lolita and say. This is what I was wearing. I'm kinda sure most lawyer's would get involved. Atleast in canada I know it would happen. Cause a simple Google search of Japanese lolita fashion does bring up a general guideline of what she is. And it's far from a shrek's worker.

As a side note, the combination of beard and lolita has just sparked inspiration for a really fucking cutsy dwarf so I'm rolling up a new dnd character to add to my growing collection, thank you

To mochi: I'm no Phoenix Wright, but I'm POSITIVE that many of the things that you described having happened to you could be taken to court, and judging by some of the other comments on this video, MANY people seem to have the same idea.

Even if Mochi was any of the things their ex accused them of being, his reaction was far far beyond not ok. Who gets someone fired after dumping them?! He's such a freak! I like how he felt the need to make it clear he wasn't the reason they didn't work out. Bet he always blames his exes instead of looking at how he might need to change or improve. Glad Mochi got out sooner rather than later.

BonBon might take a tip from Ladybeard-Rock a beard but still be fabulously Kawaii.

I wouldtalk to a lawyer about the assault and the wrongful termination both the boyfriend and the job deserve the worst of punishments because they don’t deserve anything good.

Advice for bonbon: if your beard is well kept and styled a bit (but of beard oil or styling wax. Maybe a twirl or two) you should just be fine. Maybe experiment with bows or small clip accessories and see if it adds to the look. Just make sure you don’t leave it out of your coord! If you put an effort into making it a piece of the ensemble, it’ll extra show that you have a genuine love of the fashion and not just treating it as a costume or worse. Yes, if the beard is as luxiorious as you say go for it and style it! I think beads look sooo cool in beards, I am jealous I can't have that -think viking style- why not mirror that but with pink bonbon beads. Or whatever fits the coord. If there are twisted thingies like for example on Tylers dress, that can be done in a longer beard. A big hair bow or even a bonnet on the head would be fun, to contrast the volume of beard on the lower face. Dwarf lady, viking fighter, (look up the enby viking grave they just found, so cool), circus director, bearded lady (the one in greatest showman looked great) or 19th century dandy might be inspo googles. Even pharaos or mesopotamian statues (they curled it and put gold strands in!) or the capitol people from the Hunger Games..

I am surprised that they took the ex-boyfriend's word over their own employee. Still, even if she was a street worker they still had no right to fire her in the first place. She could start to bring in bits and pieces of lolita into her everyday wear to desensitize her new bosses to it. Maybe feel the air by saying she seen something about it in a KZread video to them to see if they are against it too. If there is a subway that means she is not living in a small town, so the area she lives should not be that small minded to lolita. I mentioned this when I commented on patreon but it would be really nice to maybe put a few things together for Mochi whether it's secondhand or sewn because that was just so awful of an experience. Just for the first story I hope you know that what your bf did in public ik at least where I live is considered assault and you can take that to the police hopefully it is considered that too where you live

Story 2 Keep the beard clean and well groomed. Then braid it up. Maybe double beard braids to match the symmetry of hairstyles like pigtails

The idea of wearing a beard in lolita sounds awesome to me, imagine all the possibilities! You can braid and style your beard in intricate ways, you could put little bows in there and braid in colourful beads or (for a more classic look) actual pearls You could also look at historical beard styles which might highten the elegant look even more ^^ For braiding styles you could look at fantasy viking or dwarf looks Go wild, make that beard your statement piece Though I also understand your fears of being read as genderqueer in public too. Maybe it could help the first few times to wear it when you're with a group of friends or you could wear it to a local comm meetup. That way you can feel safe in a group while showing the world proudly who you are

This does actually depend on where this person lives. They never said they lived in the us, and those charges even vary state to state. For example, california and texas are both at will employment states, so your boss can pretty much fire you for any reason at any time.

Also there are lawyers who will help you and take the fee out after they win . I know because ive done it. It sounds like you have no idea what it's like to be a victim of abuse. And to say to be abuse is making it real makes you sound like a sick individual . Also side note , way to assume that you knew whether or not I was a victim of abuse or not. You shouldn't stereotype us into a single bubble of actions and thoughts .
