Op "cheats" and she gets kicked out of her families life easily. Her sister takes drugs and gets a fucking holiday and basically rewarded. Stories like this make my blood boil. Edit: Its funny how Op's mother wants Nikki's husband kept in the dark about how Nikki got her sister kicked out.

Not only that, but they didn't even let OP tell her side of the story and just accused her of lying. However, if OP's sister was an addict, imagine how often SHE lied and bent the truth on things to hide her addiction from her family? Imagine all the times she snuck substances into the house and LIED about it! Someone allegedly cheating was good enough to kick out, but lying and (possibly) sneaking illegal substances into your home isn't? HOLY COW!

and even so the drug addiction is the least of the sister problems, she is a erratic, narcissistic, volatile, ruthless and cruel person, to say the least. I hope the husband leaves her, not out of petiness but out of self preservation, he is in a world of trouble if not even worst

My heart breaks for OP and her ex-fiance. What the sister did was pure evil, I wouldn't be surprised if she secretly liked OP's fiance but never confessed to it. I hope they can reconcile and rebuild their relationship. Also, The fact her mom had the NERVE to kick OP out for allegedly cheating without giving her a chance to tell her side of the story, but never gave the same energy to the sister, who was an active addict, is appalling. The mother CLEARLY has favorites.

What the hell? Nikki is sub-human. OP’s mother obviously has a favorite child, that being Nikki. You can even see early on in the story that OP’s mom is also a manipulative asshole when stating that OP would be “too fat” for her then fiancé. I can’t blame the ex-fiancé nor OP’s father, as the evidence provided by Nikki was quite convincing. You have to admit, the photos taken of OP and Nikki’s friend did paint a clear picture of what seemed to be going on. I hope OP keeps Nikki and her mother out of her life, and also does whatever she needs to do to feel better about the whole situation. Whether that being cutting off her father and ex, or reconnecting with them.

I don't think OP's father is innocent. They (including the dad) never kicked out Nikki when Nikki was on drugs but they kicked out OP. Even if the dad says it was for OP to cool her head, they NEVER did that to Nikki. OP's father just realised he f***ed up when all the truth came out and OP was revealed to be innocent. Both parents treat Nikki and OP way too differently. OP's dad is not innocent even if he was tricked. Hypothetically if OP did cheat on her fiancé, why does that give them a reason to completely destroy OP but Nikki can do any evil and be forgiven. Also, I know OP's father didn't forgive Nikki THIS time, but he sure as hell forgave her for her drugs before, but he couldn't forgive OP cheating? OP's father is no way innocent. Fiancé got tricked ok, but the dad has no damn excuse. OP shouldn't forgive him. She's better off with making a new family.

Crazy story. I feel terrible for the ex too. He's the 2nd victim in this. And it's kind of crazy that a lot of people in the comments are blaming him. What the hell would you do in that situation? Your fiancée inexplicably doesn't come home after a night of clubbing, and doesn't answer her phone all night. Your close friend, who is your fiancée own damn sister, tells you a story of the fiancée cheating. She has photo evidence of her leaving with a dude who is getting handsy with her. The dude the sister claims your fiancée cheated on you with CONFIRMS THAT HE BANGED YOUR GIRL when asked. In the face of all that evidence, and with the only defense being a (seemingly) insane conspiracy theory and a conveniently dead cell phone battery, what do you do? You're telling me you stand by your fiancée? Bullcrap you would. You'd bounce. Anyone would bounce. And once you end that kind of relationship under those circumstances, you leave her in the rearview and move on. "Nikki" stole his life too. Granted, he didn't have it as bad as the OP because at least he got to have the love and support of his family (and hers). But now he has to deal with the awful guilt of NOT believing her story, even though it was utterly unbelievable in the moment, and ending a would-be-marriage based on a fiction. What happened to him was terrible. Also note that he, not the dad, was the first one to make the necessary effort to find her when the truth was finally revealed. He tried. He apologized. And he left and let her be when she asked him to go away. That dude got done hard, and was stand up about it.

I got bullied in primary and secondary school and each time I was this close to doing something horrible to the bullies, scarring them to never forget the pain they put on me, or doing something horrible to myself in their face. I don't forgive and don't forget easily. If you wronged me, you have to do something risky to your life to make me forgive you. In this situation, if I were told by my own parents that "now you're a man, you've done wrong to your fiancee, I never want to see you in this house ever again" and wrongfully be accused of doing something I know for a fact I didn't do, I'd be devastated for a couple months until I stabilize myself. I wouldn't forgive and forget my parents for not listening to my side of story. And if they try to come back to me years after truth comes out I'd be: "You've had your chance to listen to my side of story when the situation happened years ago. You've disowned me and that put a lot of pain on me and turned your backs against me when you wouldn't listen to my side of the story. Now it's my time to not forgive and forget about the pain you put on me. I don't want to see your face or anyone else's face ever again. How is nobody else not wondering why she didn’t call the police as soon as she woke up in that guy’s house? You don’t take a unconscious woman you barely know to your house, and then she acts normal like “he was just trying to be nice because he didn’t know what else to do”, I tell you what you don’t do you don’t take her to your house and also you don’t share a cab with a random guy when your married even if the dude was someone your sister briefly dated. Something about this story doesn’t add up because how naive can you be to pass out and wake up in a dude’s house and act like it’s normal.

IMO OP should make up with her ex. I get the trust issues thing and how he turned his back on her, but dude was just as lied to as OP. The sister is definitely the real villain in this situation hands down. My guess is she actually had a crush on him or something and wanted OP out of the way but after finding another dude she felt kind of bad and ratted herself out. Like I know it's obvious to us, but who would you trust in that situation, the your gfs sister who has a pile of evidence and the dude who said he slept with her, or your gf who from your perspective just got caught cheating and who's response is "trust me", which if you've ever caught someone cheating on you, you'd know, is a historically poor thing to say in that situation. Now I will say that her walking in nonchalantly not acting the slightest bit guilty (because she wasn't) at first, then protesting to call the guy as evidence should have given him a bit of a tip that something was off. He's known this girl his whole life, dude should know what her emotional tells are, but anger and confusion could have gotten in the way of that. Her saying to get the guy to vouch for her immediately should also give him a hint that she didn't do it, but from his perspective he might of thought that she made an alibi with him before hand in case this happened. Now the real thing that annoys me about this dude is that since he has also known the sister his whole life too, he should have also should have tipped him off, because this chick seems like she's a lying manipulator and been one her whole life, but maybe this guy is just really dense. Like even her excuse at the end was crappy, she did it because he thought she deserved someone better, so she ruined her sisters life, meaning she loved him more then her sister. If this witch wasn't in love with him I'd honestly be shocked. Now her response to dad was about the best thing she could have done. Dad definitely should have went after her sooner and not stopped looking for her after she ran off, her giving him a chance was the best thing he could of hoped for and honestly it seams like he knows his exact situation given his reaction. One of those good people in a bad situation, hope they make up. Mom definitely seemed to be playing favorites, wouldn't be surprised if she knew that the sister was in love with OPs fiancé and thought she'd make a better match for him and that's why she kicked her out. Seems like an actual Cinderella's evil step mother type deal. The sister is even worse, probably a socio path or something, I just don't get how you do that to you own sister. I hope these two get burned slowly over a pyre.

Cheating is bad but it does not in any way warrent what they all did to her, especially when compared to the drug taking that her sister did, WHICH IS AN ACTUAL CRIME! Frankly I don't think that any of them - family, fiance and sister - deserve forgiveness. I hope she's OK. I really really REALLY hope that she is well and successful now and that she has cut out all of the vile, toxic, hateful people out of her life for good. Jesus Christ, the number of people blaming the fiancée is sadly not surprising at all. You people will do and say ANYTHING to blame the man in this situation for ANYTHING. The only thing that should be blamed here is that human filth Nikki

Soon as the family Legally disowns and cuts complete contact with Nicky and mom signs up for therapy then MAYBE i'd consider un blocking them, in 10 years

The OP’s mother and father literally just kicking her out - even if they believed she cheated on her fiancé - is bat crap crazy! Same with her siblings. That’s not what a normal/decent family does. Nikki is just a psychopath.

I have been in two situations where people I loved have let me down badly. It is like a switch goes off inside of me, and I no longer trust or want to be with them. My older brother is trying to contact me right now, but that switch has gone off, and I am tired of being hurt by him.
