The ultimate compliment, hahaha!
This was written by Justin Stanton, the kid in the striped shirt playing keyboards. He also wrote Bad Kids To The Back, which has another sweet sax solo by Bob Reynolds. 😁
The play back and forth between the sax player and the drummer is one of the best things I’ve seen...maybe ever. They were so damn in tune with each other. Incredible.

About the horns: first of all, at the time of this recording, they'd been playing together for around 8 years, but before that, 4 of the 5 guys you see on this session came from the Univ of North Texas jazz program, I think they all played in the legendary "One O'Clock" lab band - so they know what it means to be a "horn section".

reminds me of "Colosseum Live"
What blows me away about this is that cerebral music like this has long been overlooked by the lay person, and this is a case where video actually _enhances_ the listener experience... the joy in the musician's faces is so engaging. The music itself transforms from a solely aural experience to literally physical.... all because we can watch the musicians interact... the music literally "comes alive"...

Great comments, observations and reaction as usual, sir! I hadn't heard this one before and was blown away as usual.
