Late as hell reply, but wanted to clear up some confusion in case someone else sees this comment - The developers of Mordhau have never been affiliated with Torn Banner (Chivalry), but they used to be competitive CMW players.

You swindled the camera Pretending politely; Your movements were subtle And gestures were knightly. Advancing a trifle Whilst thrusting lightly, You unscrewed the pommel And ended it rightly.

I hope we will be able to throw 90kg projectiles over 300 meters.

Dude, Although chivalry has it's flaws. Give credit because if it wasn't for that game, THIS game would've never been made. Plus chivalry isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Sure there's exploits but it's not like it's limited to certain people.

SoosSaas while the combat in mordhau is better and is more deep and thus the skill gap being higher, anything else from bannerlord is better (as expected, bigger budget). Two different games. Ill buy both

I agree with Furkan, the army raising, single player mode, secondary story characters and such are different and likely more desired than just a game that sells itself on detailed combat, despite how I should root for this game as a HEMA practitioner!

This literally brought tears to my eyes.

that's a very different game. this is a competitive game focusing on skill based combat and in depth customization, while kingdom come is more of an rpg with a focus on realism. Mordhau is going to be the best game ever though, been waiting for it for years

There is a full character customization, check our third dev blog :) So yes you can make a black knight similar to the one from the movie.

Dang I wish I came to this game during Kickstarter because by then I would have gotten the engraved longsword and probably stood by till today. Game is very fun.

So long as there are no glowing cookie- I mean powerups, then it will already be beating one game we all know and hat- love, love.

So far the game looks great and I hope it will get as much support as possible, but I have 3 things to ask. 1.Why doesn't the pommel cause a hole in time and space itself? 2.How much country based customization will be available? If you want to wear a Country's flag, then would it be the modern flag or the flag it used to have around the time this game takes place? (since it has plates armour it can't be that far in the past) And yes I know it isn't set in our historical would, but I still wonder. 3.Will we be able to create our own emblems for decoration?

I've been excited about this game since I saw the dev blogs a few months ago and boy I can say my hype for it has not died down! With the amount of money you've received on KickStarter we're all expecting an amazing piece of work. Pressure's on!

I backed this game. Now pretty please dont use my money to design paying helmets. I am giving you my very last bit of hope in the indie game industry along with my pledge.

The vocalizations for when you swing your weapons, and even get hit are from Exanima. Pretty nice....

Such a bloody, chunky, and visceral fighting style.

i will say this is really a refreshing project, would love it.

So excited for this game been waiting since first videos went up!!!!!

Really looking forward for this game, an what i like about it is that, as it seems it is more realistic than ANYTHING existing right now, but not too much "simulation" realistic in such way that it is fun killer, Game looks beautiful and and i really hope that it will work even better. After watching all of the published content and most of availible reviews I can say that there are few humble sugestions for the game to make it even more enjoyable than it seems that it is going to be. So, here they go: 1. BLOOD SPLASH ON ARMOUR HITS-somewhat makes things ugly-er and weird when blunt hammer or slash from sword hits plate or heavy mail and blood splashes, axe/hammer point/mordhau stroke/etc are much moore likely for that. Eventually someone said blood is a good way of telling that hit was on point, but some sound like groaning and crushing would be nicer. And sword blade should make like 1 hp dmg if at all on plate. 2. DISMEMBERING KILLS- beheading is sooo nice but it should be little bit less likely to happen on full helms (impossible really, but it is for entertainment) but if one could hit oponents joint, like knee or shoulder or elbow and partially/fully cut it of WHILE in combat and that would count as kill, too cool :D 3. MORE REWARDING PRECISION-this one goes with #2 and that is to make, say halfswording and pearcing with spears and swords and other things more rewarding if it hits gaps in armour like joints, throat, face openings, armpits and similar spots. 4. SHIELD DISCARD-maybe give axe/poleaxe bonus against shield and chance to crack it, and if there are going to be javelins, than possibly if javelin pearces and gets stuck in wood simply drop shield or make it muuuch slower, like it really was. I play a lot of M&B and it hurts my eyes when shield survives javelin hit but stick 1,5 meters long never slows it down :/ 5. last but not the least-BLOCK CRUSH-make it possible to make heavy swings with poleaxe/sledgehammer crush through light wheapons blocks, like swords and stuff, or maybe only make it possible to happen by making parry timing more crucial for such blocks, like smaller time gap for perfect block and everything else fails. In return make such swings much harder to return from, and as such more punishing for mistake. And don't get me wrong, game is simply SUPERB in comparison with competition by what I saw up to date, and definitely 95% of things are going to be great if they will work as intended, and I am definitely going to buy this when its out and support it all the way, but there is always room for improvement :D Last thing, sorry for my English, it is my 2nd language and sorry for typing errors it is 6:30 am and i was watching this all night long, so i am dead tired but not disappointed at all. Salut! (and sorry for this long shitposs)

Just got this game. It's soooooo much fun. Hooked. It's my game game now. The mechanics are what make the game so fun and that's the best part of a game to me. Never heard of it and read scrolling through steam and said what the hell. Glad I did.

This is already way better than "exploit fest chiv". Now one thing that keeps me from backing, is the way the character attacks and defends WHILE MOVING. When waving a sword, you need a STANCE to keep your balance and manage the weapon and armor's weight. Just looking at the videos, i can see that everything goes way too fast, people are fighting and running at the same time... Really hoping for this to be adressed. Everything else looks great already.

Chivalry 2.0 Well done guys, you deserve success even if you took most of your ideas from Chivalry. Torn Banner chose a different path so I'm not complaining. Torn Banner wants to make a Chivalry sequel but I don't see them beeing close to what you guys already added to your game. Your animation system seems far beyond what they got on their magic title..

War of The Roses done the right way ha. I can't wait to spend hours on customizing a badass looking knight.

Recommend only doing red gashes in armour instead of splatters when the sword actually penetrates and maby sparks when it just bounces off the armour. Or let that be added in the mode. I feel like it would make it feel better.

I am not calm. This is insane. Once this has more work done animations: I can't even. I am LOVING kingdom come, and this looks well on its way to being everything I am missing in KCD Jousting. Murder stroke. End him rightly. Animation work needs to happen but I assume that's a given that developers are obviously aware. Holy fuck. Wow.

This is looking pretty damn good since I loved Chivalry, can't wait to play as a peasant :^)

The only thing that's missing is actual fighting stances/ dynamic postures (the characters are too stiff -> should keep their knees bend). Apart from that, really nice. Thumbs up!

I backed with the 60 dollar option. Can't wait for Alpha :)

Good start, but if you want "fights to look like fights", you need your guys to have their feet firmly planted into the ground during an attack.

It's a multiplayer-focused combat game, but there might be some sort of like a practice scenarios with bots Not sure about that, but you can wear clothes on armor Yes, this game have both first/third person view. However, official servers won't support 3rd person for balance reasons (it can let you see wider and even a bit behind yourself)
